ذكرت مصادر مطلعة أن الممثل الخاص للأمين العام للأمم المتحدة كوفي أنان في لبنان غير بيدرسون كان قد ابلغ قيادتي حزب الله وحركة امل قبل يوم من اغتيال الوزير بيار الجميل تلقيه تأكيدات بأن النائبين وليد جنبلاط وسعد الحريري وافقا على تسوية سياسية تقول بتشكيل حكومة موسعة تأخذ فيها المعارضة الثلث المعطل مقابل وعد واضح من المعارضة بالتعاون الكامل في ملف المحكمة الدولية. لكن المصادر نفسها اشارت الى ان التعطيل جاء هذه المرة أيضاً من السفارة الاميركية في بيروت ومن خلال قائد القوات اللبنانية الدكتور سمير جعجع الذي هدّد بالخروج من تحالف الاكثرية.

If geagea byetrok 14 March, he would gain nothing. Suppose he did, right now, he'd end up with the FPM. This will no longer make him primo, and that is what geagea fears the most, what proves it is the assassination of Christian chieftains in the war, like Sleiman Franjieh and Dany Cham3oon... Not to mention the ruthless battle for Christian supremacy, where hundreds of noumoor and army officers were massacred.
Why would geagea switch? His conscience you tell me? hah! I don't think that's too much of a bother, i mean, damn, all he had was his conscience in that prison cell for eleven years, and he's still the same man...

all lebanese polititiens r fighting gma coz he is the head and he has the most of the chrestians and for all lf i say lf was the best in chrestians people but they didn't arrange themself the is lots of zo3ran under them and its the reason why they r weak my father was a captain in lf and when i went to the university i made a problem with antonio khoury in 3ouloum and he asked for my parent but he faced a captain in lf and his son with fpm so he surrendered and from that day my father saw what r lebanese forces in university and he told me u did a nice choice after 2 years of conflict at home
