Should you tell your bestfriend that you love him/her or let him/her figure it out for him/herself?

well from my point of view..... if I ever had a crush on my best friend I would never tell her, even if she has feelings for me, simply because when we are dating, we are risking everything ya3neh the smallest problem could cost us not only the relationship but our friendship too which would be a big loss not to mention a bigger pain for both of us

don't tell them or let them figure out
keep it to yourself, especialy if you know who he/she is in love with or if you know you don't have much of a chance
because it will turn out to be just plain awkward and everything would change from that moment, you can't tell your friend you love her and she doesn't and then the next day hang out in the cafeteria as if nothing has happened

as you can see I gave it alot of thought, I think I am begining to fall for my best friend

though I've known her for about 2 years now, I wonder what's with the late feelings all of a sudden

i don't know what to say since i never went through sth like this before. but i would go for letting him/her figure it out, and i would advise to give him or her some hints.
