Precious: Based on the Novel "Push" by Sapphire is a 2009 American drama film



Plot : In Harlem, an overweight, illiterate teen who is pregnant with her second child is invited to enroll in an alternative school in hopes that her life can head in a new direction.

Impression : best drama film of the year definitely ... I watched it because it earned 6 oscars nomination and it definitely deserve them ...
A really moving film with a powerful storyline and tremendous acting from the cast ...
if you are in a mood of drama don't miss it

The Edge of Darkness (2010)
plot: As homicide detective Thomas Craven investigates the death of his activist daughter, he uncovers not only her secret life, but a corporate cover-up and government collusion that attracts an agent tasked with cleaning up the evidence.

Impression: Mel Gibson was definitely good, although this wasn't his best performance, and far from his best movie. i rate it 8/10 for it's good plot and acting.

Everybody's Fine : 2009 Drama Film



Plot : A widower who realized his only connection to his family was through his wife sets off on an impromptu road trip to reunite with each of his grown children.

Impression : A movie that doesn't reflect its title at all ... a very strong drama with a very very strong performance by Robert De Niro ... However it's so depressing and emotionally abusive
Recommend it and rate it 7.5/10

An Education : 2009 Drama Film



Plot : A coming-of-age story about a teenage girl in 1960s suburban London, and how her life changes with the arrival of a playboy nearly twice her age.

Impression : I just finished watching this movie, and again this movie is about character ... Carey Mulligan performance was great and deserve an oscar nomination ...
True it's nominated for best picture but i think it will be down in the list ...
still a great movie to watch ... Definitely recommend it

L.A. Confidential (1997)

Genre: Crime, Drama, Mystery, and thriller

Plot: A shooting at an all night diner is investigated by three LA policemen in their own unique ways.

Impression: I think that the 90's are the golden age of the american cinema.. and this movie is definitely one of the best from that era ... I recommend it and rate it 8/10

The invisible (2007)
great movie , great story , but there are many mistakes in it that i cant remember and gets you bored sometimes , but still its very entretaining to watch , and the music is simply psychedelic taking you into new dimensions , especially the intro , deserves a 7\10

the story goes in saudia arabia after a massive terrorist attack happens in a compound based on a real story , deserves a 7.5\10 .
a very touching ending , but i hate the fact that they made the saudis look good
