EXACTLY that's what the Lebanese have been always taught, " EH MA KENET ABLE 133 MBs wou Hala2 Sareet a7ssan !!! " <==

THAT'S WRONG !! Ya 3ammeh el 3ALAM sar bel 4G wleek UAE is watching TV in HD on the internet with speeds up to 30 Mbps and soon it will be more !!

Ma 7ada ey2elleh PETROL, Telecom is always a winning sector and is founded on investments, oil has nothing to do with it. The more you Liberated the more it gets better. wleek Lebanon byotla3 day3a bi aya balad teneh ... Japan for example is one of those countries that are 95% covered and the smallest prefecture there is bigger than Lebanon ... and Japan is considered geographically a small country.

Shu hal 7akeh, the neighborhood will be sharing unlimited 1 mbps ?!?!!? man sorry but that's hypocrite from your side.
sadee2 you talk like Sanyoura !!! enno we can pay every year a
1 000 000 $ for hariri but we can't upgrade communication ?!!?

Frankly I don't want FPM to become like the other Lebanese parties, enno for example, waleed jumblat zaffat taree2 <== Tal 3omrak ya bek, inta ba3ed Allah and they start worshiping him for a road or iza wazaf iben flen aw 3elten.

If you want to make a Leap make it a huge step, don't jump like a frog !!

Ya man, you're taking it politically and you think I am doing so to attack the minister .. you are 125% WRONG !!
Why should I pull the plug and the language " iza 3ajabak 3ajabak wou iza ma 3ajabak de2 rassak bel 7et " mish mnee7a abadan.

Maye some of you work for ISPs, I don't care ... but your analogy is wrong. I don't think most if not all the ISPs in the world are losing money by giving unlimited plans !! mind you !! bass in Lebanon ma fina, we should play dirty we can't make clean money, we should always na3mel tfengeh !!

The more you make it cheap, the more people will TALK ( on mobiles ) the more people will use internet services and the more the competition will rise.

When you can pay 100 000 LL for the moteur la ya3teek 5 amps, I think you can pay 50$ for an unlimited plan !!

Wou iza 3am te7keh bel khsarra, how many Lebanese are connected right now with those prices ?! I think they are still way below 1 000 000 users from 5 000 000 Lebanese

they switch you to the plan that's most similar to the one you already have, you can always downgrade to the cheaper one, which is still better than the one you currently have.

dude we envy you, sodetel told us sh*t and I have been calling them once every 7 days, and sending people on my behalf there to ask(I got obsessive I should see a doctor ) and still nothing

I just want a decent internet, with a ping that does not jump to 2000 if my bro opens a google page and an net on which I can watch videos in direct stream, that's it(for now anyway)

and the ministry promised further improvements later... the fiber optics network is not complete yet...

ISPs are going to try to delay the upgrade, i heard it many times already and everything is pointing in that direction.

The plans as mentioned before:

128kbps and 256kbps will both become 1mbps
512kbps will turn 2mbps
1mbps will turn 4mbps

I just called my ISP (IDM reseller) he said that Ogero hasn't delivered the E1(s) to the ISPs yet and it will probably happen mid next month.

He mentioned something about global bandwidth improvement since he was routing part of his traffic through satellites on heavy ports such as port 80 (browsing) with a latency up to 500-600ms, all that is gonna be routed through local cables with a latency of 150-200ms.

He said that the Minister of telecom will be on Kalem El Ness and will be talking about this subject.
