Only one program!

Have you ever wondered if you can build a program that can build programs by itself?! Is this possible?
Is human able to develop a program that can replace all the programs and do everything by itself?
What level can the artificial intelligence reach? Is there any limit for the programming development?

Two people I know were talking:
A: What are you doing?
B: I'm coding a program that simulates God!
A: It will never run!

nothing is impossible but...
i think that it will work on small programs not everything for sure

i had read before about (this some scientists mania)(maybe it works)
about how to make a device like a printer but instead of colors they use
protons, electrons, carbons... ( to make a pen, a paper or somethings)

BUT they cant create brains, souls...
there r only one and only one

yes about programming, it will work just for small programs

in science can scientists create a brain (full one)

hey guys, concerning the artificial intelligence, ya it works but it is lil bit hard to do, u have to follow a concept called "neural networks" which leads to automated self learning.
actually am developing a final project applies the neural network concept on network intrusion detection and prevention systems.

Interesting!
But here the domain is closed, and there are some specific things that the program is going to deal with!
What language are you using? And can you describe or talk more about this mentioning the measurements that your program is taking or the routine check targets to detect intrusions?

actually am integrating many languages and applications with algorithm for this system,its like layers....tcpdump...snort...php....ACID...mysql..a nd alot of php scripts, with some defualt snort rules and i have to create customized rules to detect intrusions ....and these will be applied on several algorithm related to nueral network...and of them the Genetic Algorithm...that simulate the human chromosomes to network packets and the mutaion of the chromosomes is the intrusions and so on......

for now the plan is ready and from 1st february ill start implementation till the end of april, there are alot of things sure of it, but also there somethings i dunno if i can do it yet but i have too , its a graduation project, but they pick me up to do it coz i work in IT integration and securiy.
so wish me a luck to do it " w youkhlas 3a kher"
and hopefully when u want to do it , we can share ideas
