I think it was Neville and Brown ... it's hard to trick Vidic like that. :p
Anyway he was always about class. In Milan he got used to the team since a long time and they were patient with him, he had no injuries ..etc, so the team became built around him almost. In Real , he has to do it all on his own, he doesn't have that speed or control or whatever to shine like that. That is why he looks lacking. I mean let's look at the world's best recent players. Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo. They have got all sorts of tricks, ball control you can imagine, put them in any team and they can apply them. Kaka needs to have a good organized team behind them to pass and lead. I still think though if it wasn't for his injuries he could play well. Remember the Barcelona-Real Madrid match ( which was their biggest challenge last season), Kaka was Madrid best player, he was messing with the defenders and if it wasn't for poor finishing from Real Madrid's strikers, they could have went up. It sucks that now that they got a coach that actually knows how to build a team, he gets injured and can't prove himself anymore. I think he'll stay this season with Ozil and Canales and Granero as AM too. and VDV sold. Granero or Ozil can be used as backup wingers too for Di Maria, Pedro Leon and Ronaldo. They also need to get rid of one of Gago, and the two Diarras. And ofcourse they need another CF, not huge or anything but simple backup, They only have Benzema and Higuain.

I read somewhere that MOU (his new nickname :p) wants to give VDV a chance, probs they'd sell Kaka to Chelsea or something, and yep I agree about the CF bit, 7asab if he's gonna play with one and the other on the bench, bas dunno..let's see what he comes up with!

Wenger lining up another potential Gunners’ legend

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is keeping a close watch on the young Frenchman being dubbed as ‘the new Thierry Henry’.
We all know how the Gunners’ chief transformed the career of North London legend Henry, and France under-21 striker Emmanuel Riviere could be next on the list.

The Gunners boss is following the forward’s progress and will send scouts to watch the 20-year-old playing for Saint Etienne.
It is believed however, that Wenger faces stiff competition from the likes of Lyon, Juventus, and big-spending Marseille who are all also monitoring the striker’s progress. .

Riviere was born on the Caribbean island of Martinique, the same island that Henry’s mother was born, and the French youngster is desperate to follow in the footsteps of the Arsenal hero, with the Saint-Etienne striker revealing he would relish a move to the Emirates.

"Arsenal would really be the jewel in the crown for me," said Riviere. "They play a fast-moving, attacking style of football, and they're always shooting on goal. It's fantastic.

"I respect Thierry Henry for who he is, he has always inspired me."

Liverpool target £30 million-rated striker

Liverpool have made an enquiry about Bayern Munich’s £30 million-rated striker Mario Gomez, according to the Daily Mail.
The Reds’ search for a strike partner for Fernando Torres has seen failed bids for PSV Eindhoven’s Ola Toivonen and West Ham’s Carlton Cole, although they are still interested in the latter.
And the search has now taken them to Germany, where they will try to strike a loan deal for Gomez, who I the most expensive player in German football.
The 25-year-old had been thoguth to be on the verge of joining Jose Mourinho’s Real Madrid revolution, but that deal has been shelved until next summer, paving the way for a loan move elsewhere.
It is thought that Bayern would be willing to do a short-term deal, with Ivica Olic, Miroslav Klose and Thomas Muller ahead of him in the pecking order.
However, one stumbling block will be Gomez’s wages, which stand at a staggering £125,000 per week.
The sale of Javier Mascherano, though, could give them extra funds to spend elsewhere and free up some more money to bring in a left-back as well.

Liverpool in shock move for European superstar

Liverpool have reportedly made a surprise bid for Juventus star David Trezeguet.
The French veteran has been linked with a move away from Italy this summer, and the Reds have emerged as shock potential frontrunners in a long line of suitors.
Roy Hodgson is understood to be keen to add another striker to his squad before the transfer window closes next week and - although he is heading into his twilight years - Trezeguet could provide the Liverpool boss with some added firepower.
Trezeguet’s agent Antonio Caliendo confirmed that the Merseysiders had shown an interest in the 32-year-old marksman.
"An interest of Liverpool? There are requests, not just of Liverpool," he told calciomercato.it.
"In Spain there is the interest of Real Zaragoza and Hercules. We are considering [offers], today is a day of reflection, we will know more tomorrow."
The former AS Monaco hotshot transferred to Juve in 2000, and has since become the Italian giants' highest ever overseas goalscorer - and is fourth on the all-time list - with 170 strikes.
A World Cup and European Championships winner with France, Trezeguet was included in Pele's list of the 125 greatest living footballers.
