Poem Competition votes
As you know, Today was the last day to send me the poems, so i received 3 poems instead of 4.....Anyway it is ok :) the competition will begin now! So now guys it's your turn to vote for the best poem written by our 3 poets and the subject was: any hurtful experience they went through in their lives... Poem #1 "Its me and you forever" "Its us till the end" Ill never forget these words coming out of your mouth I thought you would always be with me Side by side We would walk along the pathway of life In more ways than one You left me so alone Facing this cruel world on my own I look deep into the dark sky Trying to hide the pain But i just set adrift in a sea of night And my tears fall frealy Im just an open book Showing All the pain youve caused me All the hatred i now have towards you All the love i had for you that now is long gone Lie, Cheat, Deceive Thats all you're good at I just wanna get back my life I just wanna find myself again I just wanna be pushed aside I just wanna be who i used to be When will this cycle of pain end? Thanks for everything And just know this Ill never be the same again Poem #2 I breathe deep & close my eyes I watch my eyelids 'til my heart dies Waitin' patiently for the end Gaspin' for breath, 'til the angel is sent Strugglin' for this last piece of life This endin' croud @ shal saffice Burnin' eyes stare me down Watchin' every smile morph to frowns I can't believe this is over, it's completely done The days that past, the future holds none So, as I lay here on the floor I pray goodness to the afterlife I have in store If there's such a thing that holds much peace Is it real or is it too out of reach? The Air so crisp u could break it like glass A shudderin' stillness which covers the vast Silence more warmin' than the sun does shine A quintessential moment frozen in time An echoin' movement broken @ last The silence barrier shattered with a blast A calming sensation which allows u to breathe But only after u've gotten up from ur knees u hear the grunts & harsh moans Ppl hear the eerie sounds listenin' from their homes u're feeling uneasy & tense on the inside u know what ur feeling but u try to put it aside Things aren't going how u planned, now ur ashamed Sitting there sweating hoping u don't get blamed u hear one last sound but it's only a murmur u stand up & ur stance is firmer Now with an enormous smile u feel splendid ur enthusiastic & over joyed that it finally ended So u flush the toilet :D Poem #3 Sitting here tonight,alone... I think of dreams,I wish for days that are now past... All those times will forever last... I had hoped those days will never end... My heart,it pains... Eyes bleed with tears... Re-living all my quiet fears... Sitting her tonight,alone... I think of you,of those moments we shared... Did you really love me? Have you really cared? Why did you hurt me? You left without saying goodbye... Didn't you think that it would made me cry? My heart is broken cause of those words you have spoken... Sitting here tonight,alone... No one,but me and the stupid phone... Waiting you hopelessly to call... And so,here I am,waiting in the dark... And there you are,watching for my life to spark... You are gone now,there's nothing I can do... I will miss you...I hope you miss me too... ------------------------------------------------------------------- Guys you are free to vote just for 1 poem. My vote goes to the 1st poem :) as lf_rabieh said its very impressive w the words and the meaning are very deep!
