and this picture was taken earlier that day. during the next hours the bridge was full of people and so all the other streets which are not appearing in this photo.
i can assure you that, because i was on the top of the building that appears on the extreme right of the photo and i was so astonished by the view that day !!

Look...the fact is both sides exagerate...

If lebanese ppl are 4 million...after counting the sick and those under one year of old(and those who stay home to watch them for the ppl of us who don't have a srilankian?) then dividing the number by two....you will realize that it is next to impossible to get a million meeting in one place...keef one million and a half...
The biggest gathering was probably 14 march 2005 and that was around 800,000 as many world news agencies estimated....

The biggest gathering Lebanon have ever witnessed was on 10/12/2006 ... and this was admitted by the loyalists, at least by Jumblat who declared that

160 bil 100 walla bil 200 lool ... damn more than 25 years ago and it's still applicable till today lool

You know whats funny? That 14 Feb Forces have been trying to get all the people they can get on 14 Feb 2008. And only probably 25,000 people attended (maybe less)

But on 14 February 2008 another gathering happend and it was the funeral of Imad Moghnieh. People attended the Imad Moghnieh funeral, remembering that he was assasinated a day or 2 before, and they managed to be more than the Rafic Hariri Memorial by big time. And the people who went to the funeral are just the Dahieh citizens and some supporters from Beirut. The funeral included Hezbollah and a minority from Amal Movement and other parties that supported the resistance and the opposition, so how many people would it be if all the Lebanese Opposition attended?

Its either 10/12/2006 or the Divine Victory Festival.
