A small prob

Ok guys, since I got this Laptop I could never use the alt+numbers (Dec)
Ma3 l 3elem enno the numbers work just fine alone ( ex: 1 2 3 4)
and the Alt work also just fine alone (ex: ctrl+Alt+del )
But when it comes to special character... masalan l e muee aw 7ayala special character...I hit Alt...keep pressing :p while hitting for example 130
I doesn't make any sense...they make me that sound eno I can't press these numbers..
any solutions?:D

there is a button called fn on your laptop's keyboard.
make sure that u keep pressing this button when you want to use the numkeys.
also make sure that the numlock is on.

ehhhhhhhh it didnt work

in my desktop i used to press alt + 130 to get the e with axon i dunno how do they write it ... the one we use in french...now no signs of recognizin it

Things to do:
-Setting Num Lock to "Auto" in the BIOS fixes the problem.
-Trying to uninstall the keyboard driver from the device manager located in the system. After you do, install the keyboard driver again... (You might need the drivers CD that comes with the laptop).

Note: You don't have to do both points if the problem was solved from the first try...

or u can press the num lock thingy w fi 3endak numbers mbaynin 3alal "jkluio789" :)
numlock then alt+jlm it should work :) é
