i suggest you google reviews about them. this is simple.
or better, go to a store and put both next to each other, and compare.

yeah as kingroudy said, plus u can ask one of those geeks with stickers on their chest :p in the store they'll help ;)
ps:it's preferable that u go to a big store that have both TV's and variety of models and manufacturers.

Re: LCD TV:Sony or Samsung

For me this is news that they released 32" Full HD LCDs lol
anyways they both look good, I tried to check online for you but for some reason each reseller is listing different specs!
Here is what you have to know, for 32" HD Ready or Full HD does not really matter unless you are sitting 50cms close to the TV. The most important thing is contrast ratio. This is basically how the tv handles color changes (and dynamic contrast ratio as well). So when you have a higher CR:1 then you have a better display of colors and you will notice it well on 32". Sio yea just go to a reseller and compare both and read the specs they have on the tags :) hope that helps.
Ah and if you are in Lebanon and do not have any HD Media (BlueRay,PS3,Xbox360) then what you need is just any simple tv no need to go full hd as well we dt have HD Channels :D

Re: LCD TV:Sony or Samsung

best 32 inch now is the new W series of sony

and about the X series , man its an HD tv of course if u put a regular or a digital receiver the picture wont be that good , because digital receiver can go to 576i while the HD resolution is 720p or 1080i or 1080p

so try watching a blu ray movie or an HD channel on it

and then tell me if it suck or not :D

Re: LCD TV:Sony or Samsung

a FULL HD 32 incher must be very new and expensive, go for a 720p (unless you are willing to pay a lot, or you wanna sit real close) because 720p is enough.

Re: LCD TV:Sony or Samsung

sony W series 32 inch 1080p is for 1000$

btw if ur getting a 32 inch or a 40inch 720p or 720p(1080p capable) or 1080p
its the same u wont notice anything unless ur getting a 52 inch and above

but now 1080p is standard and affordable so get a 1080p one

SKorea's Samsung says unveils world's slimmest TV

SEOUL (AFP) - South Korea's Samsung Electronics on Monday unveiled what it says is the world's slimmest LCD (liquid crystal display) TV.

The new product, measuring only 6.5 millimetres (0.26 inch) thick, is thinner than any other existing TV set, and even slimmer than most mobile handsets, Samsung said in a statement.

Its thickness is one seventh of Samsung's "Bordeaux 850" LCD TVs, which is currently the thinnest on the market, the company said.

The new product, which adopts an LED (light emitting diode) backlighting system, will be on display at the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas from January 8 to 11, Samsung added.

sorry for no available pics currently ... if someone can find some photos plz post them

Thank You ...
