Hello fellow engineers,how you doin?:D
well i decided to open this thread in order to let us (vc engineers) communicate,share new ideas and special stuff. plus there are 10 good reasons to date an engineer;):P: 10. The world does revolve around us... we choose the coordinate system. 9. No "couple" enjoy a better "moment". 8. We know how to handle stress and strain in a relationship. 7. We have significant figures. 6. We understand the motion of rigid bodies. 5. Projectile motion: Do we need to say more? 4. Engineers do it to specification. 3. According to Newton, if two bodies interact, their forces are equal and opposite. 2. We know it's not the length of the vector that counts, but how you apply the force. 1. WE KNOW THE RIGHT HAND RULE! Plus Engineers know how to calculate the centrum of mass: trac the so called "G-spot" ;)We have control on the degrees of freedom of bodies We know techniques that lead to the plasma state Inventors of the plug and play way of living We know how to do and undo all kinds of buttons We make systems reach boiling points , others reach melting points... We work in doping technology. So tell us what are you studying (Mechanical,civil,electrical,computer,chemical, agricultural etc...) and don't forget to share with us here everything interesting that your eyes drop on concerning Engineering topics. |

I studied w khalaset :W :W i am a computer and communication engineering graduate :W, and i am looking to continue my masters degree in the same field.
What can i say !!! we are the best :W we engineer the world we design your way of life |

i'm a computer engineer undergraduate, and when i have exams i think of suicide:P
it's a special feeling to be an engineering student.. it is a big domain and you can't just put all ideas in one thread, but always remember: Lim when GPA tends to 0 of Engineering is Physical Education:P |

Ma t3ishouwa Guys :p it's true that Engineering is great, and Engineers have achieved a lot, and they can do a lot, but while you guys are sitting down doing all the hard work, business men are getting all the good money in easier ways. You might tell me it's not about the money, but I'd better get a Lamborghini LP560 after a "hardwork" of a couple of years than spending half a lifetime trying to get one. Believe me it's way cooler (H) :p Anyways no offense, I admire how you all can handle that much work.

Last April, I finished my Bachelors of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering (with a minor in commerce). Not only that, I finished one year ahead of my friends while maintaining a first class average. Now I am a Masters student (again in electrical engineering) and I do research in micro-electro-mechanical-systems. But I have to say that I spend about 9-12 hours per day in school and 3 hours commuting. (you even see me at school in most holidays and weekends i.e. like any other engineering student).

Mechanical engineers and electrical engineers control the world technologies.
why? well mech and elec engineers build automated systems that runs on their own,they have a good knowledge in computers and programming+like enigma said,cce students are overloaded...mech and elec engineers are the less:D |

No, we're not overloaded at all! In my university (UOB), Civil and Mechanical engineers are flooding the engineering classes! And even if we're overloaded, we can still work everywhere, even in Lebanon! @J()e Man, Mechanical and civil engineers depends on us! Plz don't tell me that computer was invented lately and that you are the base of technology... Now you can't invent anything without computers! By the way, I'm a computer engineer but I also love computer science that I studied the major parts of its materials at home... Computer science and Engineering must not be separated, they're both the most contributors in the evolution of today's technology. |

Um... to J()e, well done about the being smart part :p but if someone doesn't study an Engineering Major this doesn't mean that he's not smart :p So you're not the only smart people on the planet. And I didn't study Engineering but my IQ isn't that bad :p
