Vista Prob

hi while i'm trying to access some .exe files (like vista games) i'm receving this msg:
Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item
i guess its a registery problem
so any help?

Try: Right click > Run as administrator.

Did you tried to change the privileges of your current user?
Or, simply. Log-in first as administrator and try to open these files.
And what are those files? (Other than the Vista Games)

yes i'm logged in as an administrator

other than vista games lets say Skype for exemple
but some programs when i go to the file location (like program files ) it open normaly but the shortcut isn't workin...
other programs the shortcut and the orginaly .exe file isnt workin

weird hein?

Log-in as "The Administrator" (The original one). Not as an administrator.

And it might be for many reasons. I can't tell now directly. Since It's not my PC.

lol are you waiting for the final release of win 7 ? if so i think it'll come in 2010 or maybe in the late summer of this year..its a long wait.

is this official by microsoft ? i said late in the summer which is late october, and maybe till early 2010 which meens late fall cuz the due date of vista was in april 2006 then it was released late in 2007 as i remember ..
