This man is insulting the lebanese people. he wants now to protect the arabian face of lebanon!!!! against whom? does he think that he is (and who are behind him) more arabic and lebanese than us? shame on him.

Everyone has the right to express his opinion, no one has any "7assaneh" was it Sfeir or whoever... when a non-political figure wants to apply his own political opinion on all the people he should bear the consequences.

Sfeir or any other religious or whatever figure has the right of having a political opinion, but he has not the right to apply his own opinion on the people as long as he doesn't represent them politically.

You can talk whatever you want as long as you keep your speech under a certain level.
I'm not a "batrak" supporter. But I find this completely wrong to bash him in public.

Isn't your sensitivity about bashing his excellency a bit misplaced, brother? I understand it's the symbol you're worried about, but the damage already done by this same man to this same symbol renders your concern superfluous. The only one figure, in whose hands lies the most effective instrument to unite his sheep, Religious influence, chooses instead to use it to amplify division among them.. Criminals have been punished for less.

This is the man who gave his blessing to an invading army and street militia gangs to get rid of a lebanese general because he righteously fought both for the sake of trying to liberate and normalize back a wasted land.
