Ramadan

hello everybody , please post here news if u read about when is ramadan ?

Ramadan kareem w yen3ad 3al jamee3 :)

Adam 08-20-2009 04:11 PM

It's the same thing every year, I just can't understand why there always is a big fuss about defining when it starts.

I would have thought that by now we'd have the technology to determin the planetary positions.
What's the problem?

For those who advocate Sayyed Mhammad Hussien Fadlallah, Ramadan starts tomorrow.

also I'd like to ask, does it really make a difference to God what day it is? enno if you fast one day earlier or one day late 5alas, ma 3ach ma2boulé?

One should aim for the most accurate date, but if he gets it wrong then it's still accepted.

But my point is that we can calculate when the month starts, there are many of websites who do this and they are usually right on the spot. I follow Muhammad Hussein Fadlallah and according to him there is no need to wait to see the moon to know when Ramadan starts, so why don't they get an astronomer to do the calculations. That way we don't have to wait for the last second to know.

No one in lebanon should fast.

How does them reaching an agreement matter to you ):?
I admire your spirit of unity and everything :pbut the agreement part possibly won't happen anytime relatively soon :p
Supposing whoever you decided to fast with was a day late or a day early, they are the ones to be held responsible for the miscalculations on their part.
Let's assume that you were to be held responsible for a mistake they made :p wouldn't fasting another day to make up for the one you wasted be better than wasting the whole entire month :p?

Neoxter 09-08-2009 12:39 PM

the "higri" system has proved it failure , why we still insist on using it?? we should use the miladi , and if they insist , we can name the "miladi" months , like higri months , and for gods sake , FIX RAMADAN IN WINTER! , religion doesnt say stay like a stone , its all about improvmnets and getting forward , so lets fix this hegri system!
