i downloaded the new version from the msn website last week:
downlaod.live.com and its a full version not a web downloader its available now |
i have the 8.1 and i entend to stay on it :@ :@ , but instead the bastards signed me out few minutes ago and i cant sign in again without downloading the new one :@

try to download a stand-alone version of windows live messenger maybe it'll work.

After you click on download in download.live.com click on try again to download a stand alone version (full copy)

No i meant by stand alone version of msn the one u dont need to install or what u know as "portable" give it a try its 16mbs

keef y3ni ?? wats the difference? keef nezlet from 135 mbs to 16? it installs from the web , right? so in the end it beomes 135 mb again

lol no this an 8.5 msn, u can put it on usb and run it from anywhere that's why it's called portable, it is good to use it in universities or computers with limited access ie u cant install msn messenger.

For those who want to keep the old version,
exit completely from msn. go to program files/msn messenger (or windows live) folder. check for msnmsger.exe, right click-properties-comparibility. choose windows 2000. apply the changes, then run msn again. As for the polygamy of msn 14, just download messenger plus http://www.msgplus.net/download/ |
