Whey Proteins !!
Guys ... I need to build some muscles ... so i went today to a nutrition shop in 7amra ...the guy there told me that i need to take some kind of fat burners for 2 weeks then he'll give me Whey Proteins + Amino acids !!
I really enjoyed what he said to me and the result i'm going to have in couple of months with gd training !! So what do you think guys ?! Should i take those stuffs ? What are their side effects ? Please tell me everything about them !! Thanks :W !! |
There are no dangerous side effects to whey protein consumption...at least none that were proven or linked to whey proteins.

Btw don't grow too dependant on that stuff...and nutrition is key while taking them... NEVER skip meals.

I have seen my friends at the gym, it takes a year before it even shows a bit that you go to the gym :p it takes 2 years to have real biceps and chest muscles kinda depressing, but if you don't start you'll never get there ;) I won't take my chances with specific foods and pills just eat like a horse, whatever your muscles needs they are bound to get it :p also, being on a diet and training for muscles is not good, you can only do one of these 2 because cutting down on food will also lead to a decrease in muscle development |

iv seen people cursing the day they got those stuff , whey proteins , creatin and amino acids w ma b3ref sho , after 10 years and more after you take them , their side effects begin to show , NO NEED TO HURRY , these things would ruin your life , do like me ,im goin to gym n not takin anythin , in 2 months i raised some muscles and my shoulders got wider , itd take 6 more months to have my body muscular , ofcourse i go 5 days a week . DONT get that stuff , or youd regret it later for the rest of your life. |

I bet you that the guy who is selling u these stuff doesnt know what chemicals the products contain. Personally, ive been working out since 4 years and i always take a whey protein shake after my workout. It is just like a meal replacement. So instead of having a full chicken after ur workout, u can have a shake instead. As for fat burners: 1- U said that u wanna gain muscle... I dunno why the guy recommended fat burners. 2- Fat burners are dangerous. Its true that they help u lose fat, but they also increase ur heart rate like crazy (bitsir t7ess be tar2a) which is really annoying and unhealthy. 3- U have to take multivitamins with fat burners or ur organs will be totaled. Trust me on this, I really recommend the whey protein. Work out hard and eat well for 6 months. Then start cutting down by doing cardio and abs. No need for fat burners at all. Hope this helps. 1st of all as a start never approach the fat burner and amino acids, and if u have fat,also dont take protein. Start with the first month by making fat burning exercises then after that u can take 1 to 2 buckets of whey of protein only.
But if u want my advice and according to my experience, just eat and sleep well and u will see the results. to eat well means 6 regular meals per day(no chips,acid, choco,......) anyway if u need more details, message me. |
first of all what is your weight and your body fat %.
for the fat burner thing, there is only one safe product called L-carnetine and it's not that effective it's weak. stronger products like thermo ripped have several side effects. i don't recommend taking a fat burner. i am 110KG, i am following a diet and doing cardio training i used to train without diet the only thing that improved was my stamina bt my wieght stayed the same till i started a diet parallel to the training, i've started my system a month ago (adding the diet) and i've cheated alot (ken fi seker w BBqs w khbar) but now i am 105Kg and dropping. As for whey proteins and amino acids, if you are fat they wont do you anything, amino acids needs to be taken if your body fat is less than 30~32%. and if you were already fat don't take protein just amino, i am starting amino once my weight is below 100kg. i have a very good trainer and he is a professional (deresa lel mehneh mech men jamei3et el chedd w tedghit :p ). so my advice for you is to go to a dietitian first, check your data, if you have high body fat% drop all supplements, start a diet and cardio training. |

check your body fat % and start a healthy diet, start cardio training for a couple of months then use one cycle of amino acids if your weight dropped below ~88kg

no I don't think proteins and stuff have dangerous side effects
not sure though I heard testosterone actualy can boost both your muscles and intelligence :p and there are other stuff athletes use the real problem is that clean steroids and stuff like that costs alot of money, these have no side effects the cheap stuff people buy are not so reliable |
I've been working out for about a year and a half... right now I'm in a "not bad" shape... recently I started to take "Mass Gainer"; I need to gain about 5 Kg, and maybe later I'll start with Whey Proteins... last week I read that the body needs daily 1 gram of protein for each 1 pound of body weight (that's about 160 grams of protein daily) ... What I wanted to ask is does this huge amount of protein have any side effects on the body especially on the liver ?

if u r thinking to get results in two months following what that sales person told u, u r dreaming bro, it will take u yearsssss.... what u really need is dianabole 50, deca 200, testosterone 400, trenbolone + proper food + 3 protein shake a day will do the job... and u will find result is 10 weeks ;)... body buildin is expensive, and whoever tells u that steroids is dangerous tell them so smokin and alcohol ;) all athletics around the world use STEROIDS....

i forgot to say , do not train more than 45 mins a day... 4 days a week are plenty for u...don't do like most of the idiots who stays hours and hours... and remember to train ur legs coz it helps your upper muscles grow faster, otherwise ur body will look funny later on... remember over trainin is not good... training + gear ( steroids) + proper food + REST= RESULTS... resting is important coz ur muscles grows while u r sleepin.... good luck

Very interesting thread, i was thinking about this matter earlier today.
I personally prefer cardio especially jogging or not used to bodybuilding yet (started 2 weeks ago). However, ever since i started bodybuilding i noticed that my shoulders are getting wider and my body is taking a new shape which i really liked and got me a excited about the matter knowing that i only lost 1-2KG in a month but that's totally normal since I'm gaining muscles. Yet, I'm far away from taking any protein or fat burners... it's really not worth it, I'm optimistic that i will get rid of my body fat and build some muscles by summer. Good luck everyone =) |

As for protein shake it is important to have it after every workout session, since the role of the protein shake is to repair the muscle tissue that has been damaged by muscle volume increase... it doesn't play a role in increasing the muscle size... it will as well decrease that pain the next day after the workout since the muscles are being repaired. The guy there said that he has 2 types of Whey (Both Optimum Nutrition); the first one 24g of proteins and 2g of carbs / serving !! the second one 30g of proteins and 4g of carbs / serving !! which one should i choose ... ?! Btw they cost 100$ each ... !! |

if u want u can buy it through ebay, but i dunno if they deliver it to lebanon... last time i bought 20 kg of ISOLATE protein for about $400... the prices here in sydney are about 100% for 4 kg of normal protein that u buy from the shop ...
if u want my opinion isolate is the best protein coz it is pure protein ( more than 90% and up to 97 % pure protein)... most of the factories they get the isolate and mix it with flavours and 100 other things... if u haven't heard of isolate or concentrate protein, go on google and read about them... they r 100% better than any other protein product, and they have no flavour, u mix it with any flavour u like.... |

as i understood u live in europe... if dats the case, buy it in bulk through ebay.com... but anyway if u want a brand name, go to ebay and search for isolate protein and u get plenty of brands... however when u go to the protein shop, ask him for isolate protein and he should be abe to help u... it is better for u to buy it with ur friends in bulk, like a bag of 20 kg coz u would be able to save at least about $100....
