Rima Fakih - Proud Lebanese
 
Rima Fakih (born 1986 in Srifa, Lebanon) currently residing in Dearborn,won the Miss Michigan USA title in 2009 and will compete in the Miss USA pageant in 2010.
Fakih won the Miss Michigan USA pageant on 19 September 2009, her first attempt at the title.

slightly off topic, the whole beauty contest thing has always puzzled me, the principle of it...

women complain all the time about feminism, equal rights, not being advertised as objects :P bas when it comes to beauty contests, they all get excited and stuff, and then it is ok for for women to be displayed in underwear for judges to grade their private areas

not that I am against lool just saying I am confused about how society sees right and wrong in this world

though very dark very long hair does not rank high on my standards, but I am not a judge

اللبنانية ريما فقيه تحصل على لقب ملكة جمال أمريكا

فازت ريما فقيه اللبنانية الأصل بمسابقة ملكة جمال الولايات المتحدة لعام 2010 لتصبح ثاني أمريكية من اصل لبناني تحصل على هذا اللقب.
وتفوقت ريما البالغة من العمر 24 عاما على 50 متسابقة أخري من كافة الولايات الأمريكية وقد شاركت في المسابقة ممثلة لولاية ميتشجان.

يذكر أن فقيه من بلدة صريفا الواقعة جنوب لبنان وقد غادرت إلى الولايات المتحدة عندما كانت طفلة صغيرة عن عمر 7 سنوات ثم درست وعاشت في ديربورن بولاية ميتشجان.
هذا وقد نالت فقيه إعجاب لجنة التحكيم المؤلفة من 8 أعضاء على رأسهم لاعب كرة السلة ونجم دوري السلة الأمريكية للمحترفين كارميلو انتوني إضافة إلى عدد من كبار الشخصيات الأمريكيين تجمعوا في منتجع بلانيت هوليود الذي استضاف المسابقة.
ويعد هذا اللقب هو الثاني لفقيه في مسابقات الجمال حيث حصلت من قبل على لقب ملكة جمال لبنان في الولايات المتحدة عام 2008.
وكادت فقيه أن تتعثر بعد ان انتهت من أحد العروض الرئيسية أمام لجنة التحكيم بسبب طول فستان السهرة التي كانت ترتديه.
وعلم موقع tayyar.org ان فقيه هي ثاني أمريكية من اصل لبناني تحصل على هذا اللقب بعد جولي حايك التي فازت باللقب عام 1983
هذا وقد حصلت ملكة جمال أوكلاهوما على لقب الوصيفة الأولى بينما حصلت ملكة جمال فيرجينيا على لقب الوصيفة الثانية.
وبهذا الفوز يحق لفقيه أن تمثل الولايات المتحدة في مسابقة ملكة جمال العالم 2010.

وتحدثت شقيقتها رنا المقيمة في صريفا فقالت: "إن شقيقتي ريما هي الرابعة بين أشقائها وشقيقاتها الخمسة، وغادرت الولايات المتحدة الأميركية مع أفراد العائلة في العام 1993، عندما كانت في السابعة، وهي طالبة ادارة اعمال. ولقد تبوأت عددا من المراكز على مستوى الجمال في العالم ولبنان، واحتلت في العام 2008 مركز ملكة جمال المغتربين في أميركا، وشاركت في مسابقة ملكة جمال "وجه" الكون في "غانا"، إلى أن شاركت في هذا الحدث، الذي ادخل فعلا السعادة الى قلوبنا وقلوب المحبين في لبنان والعالم العربي والعالم. ولطالما أوصاها والدي أن تفتخر ببلدتها صريفا ووطنها لبنان.

من جهتها، هنأ رئيس بلدية صريفا علي عيد املكة بفوزها، وقال: "إن أرض جبل عامل في الجنوب اللبناني تنبت جمالا كما تنبت أبطالا، ونحن نفتخر بذلك. ونوجه دعوة إلى الملكة ريما فقيه لزيارة وطنها الام لبنان وبلدتها صريفا في أقرب وقت ممكن".

actually to be honest I'm sure there are like million more good-looking girls than her. Her face is so stuffed up for some reason and her body is thin and way too "weak" to be erotic. Not saying she's ugly, but really I've seen like at least 20 more beautiful girls than her around here in the past week only. She looks cute though and good-hearted maybe that what makes her look more charming.

Totally agree, im sure that you as myself get attracted to normal hotter girls that you see everyday in uni/street etc.., she doesnt have any kind of attraction.
