Mohamad Iskandar VS May Matar
From two months ago and we listen to Mohamad Iskandar's song "Jomhouriyet Albe", accompanied with debates and demonstrations of the society protesting against its lyrics.
The lyrics of this song: And now, few days ago, we start listening to a new song for May Matar, in which she replied to Iskandar's song. The lyrics of this song: Which song do you support ? :D Are you with Mohamad Iskandar or with May Matar ? MP3 Songs: Mohamad Iskandar - Jomhouriyet Albe May Matar - Metlak Mech 3ayzin Rjal |
Mohamad Iskandar.. his song seems more logical to me :p
|
I'm with May Matar song. And definitely absolutely totally against Mohamad Skandar song. We are in the third millennium and I think that there is no man that still thinks this way, and there is no reason or argument that should keep the women away from working or getting a job.
Anyway I think that there is no girl that will accept to stay at home to be a statue or a cook because she is a girl. No one has written a rule that the woman should stay at home. I think Mohamad skandar song's totally illogical  |
ma befham why is this arguments and protests were about , enno its just a "song" that he did ... he's not forcing women not to work neither 3amal 7ezeb deddon !
its a SONG ! |
I don't mind..........
|
both have good lyrics :p
from where can we get the song of may matar? |
I hate both singers lool.
But reading both lyrics, I kinda support May's response! She's saying the truth |

for some reason some women here in Lebanon took it personal while I am 100% sure that he wasn't addressing the society, when he said " na7na ma 3anna banat tetwazaf bi shhadetha" ma azdo na7na ka moujtama3 yemken azdo na7na ka 3ayleh ( beit skandar :p) besides houweh 3am bi dalle3a " 3anna el bent btedalal kel shi byejeh li 5edmetha" which means " 23edeh bel beit w ana bjeblik kel shi" bass houweh aghani romancyeh in a aggressive way metel yalli byermiki bi wardeh braso b5artish fardeh :p |

Voted for the girl, even though ma besma3 heik aghaneh they are utter trash bass she got one thing right, we don't need people from the jahiliyyeh!! w haydeh el 3a2liyyeh eno ma t3allem el benet w ma tkhalliya techteghel haydeh mech bi lebnein, beddo heik yrou7 3al beldein el 3arabiyyeh fi ktir mennon hawdeh, the women have the right to work and take full pride with her degree, i personally believe in the modern family family approach where both the wife and the husband work with enough trust to keep their work relations professional either the husband with any other girls in his workplace or the girl in hers since alot of temptations of promotion and stuff can be offered in a sleazy deal. Fa haydeh yelli bi fekron 3allema btekhsara, w 23adeh bel beit beddon yrou7o yballto el ba7er because el 3aalam btemcheh la 2eddeim ma bterja3 la wara

Even though the situation does not relate to me, and i support the woman's human rights, but i liked the first song more than the second one because Mohammad iskandar voice is better than May Matar, and the music of his song is also better...
the 2 have good lyrics, the best sentence is: عندي مركز عندي شغل وعَ قدّ المسؤوليّة ما بيقدر ميّة مدير نظرة يتطلّع فيّي but nowadays girls that can say "ma bye2dar 100 moudir bnazra yottala3 fiya" are rare, and i dont think May Matar is one of them (with all my respect). |
I support May Matar's song even though she is not the ideal person to sing it. The economy and the culture nowadays cannot tolerate the mentality of Mouhammad Skandar.
No family can nowadays live on one income, that of the man, and the experience shows that women can be as productive as men are. Besides back in the days women weren't allowed to go to universities in the same numbers as today, and a girl with a college degree does not accept to be "enslaved" by a man. |

Tarek sweetheart when someone releases a song he is surely not addressing the family skandar, it is addressing the whole nation. Besided you seem to take our responses to the song so personal yourself.
when you want to talk to your girl friend or to your wife you do not put it in a song and diffuse it on cable TVs and radios. Besides just by writing and singing such a song he is giving the wrong image about the Lebanese people who are educated open minded and not monkey from the prehistorical age. |

I'll elaborate,
First of all, I do not listen to such kind of music cause in my personal opinion, hayde music nawriye. Which brings me to the second point, since such music style is garbage, then the one who is singing it must have a mind full of garbage. Therefore, tabi3e yotla3 menno hek kalimet & afkar. I only feel bad for this is representing the lebanese society and destryoing the image of men and women in this country |

People shouldn't listen to such garbage and make them more important than good lebanese bands which there's plenty of them and makes amazing music but since they don't strip on tv and dont make songs for "children" since derje halla2 ma 7ada byesma3 aghenyoun...so it's sad to see the lebanese songs 3am yousalo la hal daraje mn l fachal..... anw about the subject Mohammad Iskandar song lyrics are BAD..... Quote:
anw that's off topic but i was obliged to comment on it.... so Mohammad Isakandar song lyrics are really bad...and the ones by May Matar are better ..... |

So you consider now the English songs or french songs that are full of sex and f**ck words a good music that represent a civilized society?

A little off-topic.
What's going now in our world? Someone makes a useless thing with used plastic bottle and rusted pieces of metal decorated with pig's sh**t and says that it's a culture. And many others agree and are running through streets with it and making the author an icon of art. Why? just because it's against any aesthetic feelings, so they think it's a "protest" (against what? I guess against things called like "culture", "art" etc. they can't make anything really good and beautiful and recognize a beautiful thing, so they prefer to replace beauty by ugliness). That is what their "modern progressive western culture" is 90% about for now. |

Therefore, everyone is free to sing whatever he wants, and think whatever he likes about a certain thing, and those who doesn't agree with him can simply not listen... |

Well it's not only the Arabic lyrics, but sometimes Arabic in latin font as well... maybe revealing your real identity could be a nice thing you do since you became a part of this family, and we all know each others in here. |
Well, it's not about those songs, they are good and don't belong to things I was talking about, but about ones you talked about (saying about sex-f**k). Sorry maybe it wasn't clear, I had to quote your post, and was an off-topic, but I wanted to say it for a long time.

Seriously about it: Man you're a mod, you even can view my IP if you do not trust me who I am although I didn't give any reason not to trust me. And if you're so curious about smth related to me, you may ask, I'm not hiding anything, maybe just am not talking about myself everywhere. Also I bet you don't know even 1/2 of all members in real life, just those who are active and were in VC meetings. About others you know only what they said to you, but you can't check this info. And if you are so opened for others, why you even didn't tell any basics in your profile? From it we can know only that you like this site. And the last, maybe you're also curious why I choose Mohamad Iskandar? I just more liked the music, but as I've said I don't care very much. |
