Religion : is it your choice ?
When you were 6-7 years old, at the begining of your conscience stage , you suddenly start hearing about your religion, your god, and the rituals of your sect.
and day by day, most of us become involved in his religion , loyal to the chosen god . but who chose that god, that religion for you? why it's not another one? are you satisfied with that choice, or maybe, you wish to be another prophet follower? why the others have to chose your sect, and why you are brainwashed since your childhood? have you ever thought about all that?? Note: this topic isn't about telling us which god you worship, neither to make a sectarian chat session |

Well... Since I was a Kid they told me That I dont have to eat this & that cuz our religion forbides it.... (THIS IS JUST AN EXAMPLE) so i grew up with lots of thoughts that my religion forbides 'em.... bass eventually...I'm not that satisfied of my religion cuz i must have to follow a certain "prophet" and not another "ONE"... eno y i have to follow anybody:S? I agree with you farah,
unforunately in lebanon we still have 'taba3iye' if your parents are christians you have to be christian for example. personaly i am an agnostic person my parents know it even if indirectly. i do think it's brainwashing and it doesn't stop here when you go to school where you're supposed to learn respect and accept others you see that you have a religion periodes a week that are added to your monthly result. then schools in lebanon became extremist industries for example when i was about 10 years old every time the teacher wanted to give a bad example it throw it on the muslim people. there's another thing lebanese don't understand that freedom is not freedom of the occupation only it's freedom of our mind and freedom of our choice and our children's. I'm Christian, I don't pray, I just respect God, and I try not to sin...
I don't complicate life because of my religion... I just live to keep god proud and I try not to disapoint him... :) The End... |

Im A christian who believes in a power Bigger than me which is Called " GOD "
I do beleieve in jesus since I have witnessed some miracles, and if it wasnt for the miracles I may have not been a believer of Jesus ... Bass anywayz, I respect every religion and i beleieve that MY religion is not christianity .... it is rather " MY BELIEF " And it happens that My belief is Christianity ,... The Faith is what should lead you, what you believe in is what should lead you .not the relgion itself .... Take a very simple example, when do you achieve what you want ?? Isnt it when you have faith in what your doing ...?? Religion is the same ...Its The Faith that you give ....Its actually a Faith YOU make ! Regards ! My Opinion ! |

maybe u don't have lot of choice in ur religion but u do have a choice in ur faith i'm a muslim and although i think it's the best way to find GOD, i can tell that religion doesn't matter what matters is faith And that, everybody has a choice in it As for rituals, it's only consequences it never makes faith, but it's faith that makes it |

i always i had a question when i was a kid ...
those people who live in deep Amazon & Africas forests , still don know about christians or muslims,,, wht if they were good people shall they go 2 hell...i asked that 2 mwalina:) he entered walls(fat bel 7itan .latin aint allowed here) i believe that religien is the set of rules we must do.. ( don lie ,don steal...etc)... guess i have lot of pts in common with u |

no of course in lebanon we do not have the choise for choosing our religion but i'm proud to be christian with of course no disrespect to other religions in lebanon

i am a christian and proud of being one ...i think when u reach maturaty it is ur choice to choose ur religion ,,,if ur not satisfied with ur faith as a christian u can change it ...but el ghalat enno btesma3 ktiir 7ake...!

since i was in a religious school we had a course abt religion and we used to talk most of the time about our religion but also we talked abt other religions.. i didnt choose my religion but m convinced with it .. maybe i've been brainwashed (i dt think so) but when i'll have kids i'll give them my religion and when they grow up they'll have all the time to make research and check what religion suits them the most ... but ma3 kel a7tirameh lal kel i dont want my kids to grow up without having a god w yotla3o athee .. coz if god exist or not , me believing in Gods existance keeps me going on ...

well i was born with the religion i have...mesh ana na22ayta...bas i love that religion nd tht sect...w its nt bein racist ...but its becoz i find it fullfillin me...w it duznt mean i dunn accept others...bel e5er i believe in God nd others too or wutever ppl have in consideration or believes nd religions...its ther own wppl shudnt behave accordin 2 religions...w as 4 me if i was 2 choose which religion i dunno by then bas im Glad bein wut i am...nd i'll b teachin my children wut made me like my religion nd sect w mesh forcin em 2 like it or take it...

i am christian and i am proud to be christian cz i beleive in God and his son and that he give us his son to erase our faults ! soo i don't have any problem with it
