Christian leaders.. What did they make for a better Lebanon?
I want to talk about the the politicians that the christians between 1975 - 2006 .
from pierre gemayel (the rock), to Raymond Edde , bashir gemayel, samir geagea , elie hobeyka ,dany chamaoun, Amin gemayel ,General michel aoun and all the others . what did they make for lebanon and the christian community ? where are their legacies ? what's the difference between them ? who is/was the most popular ?? and who really represented the christians ? |

The only christian leader who really represented (and still does) the christians is General Aoun, Honestly, I never adored GMA and never tried to know more about him ...but at the same time i didnt hate him ...he was to me another politician, When he came to lebanon and set his foot in his country (which he will be the future President of) ... I started to know more about him ..His history is clean, ....all what they can blame GMA of is his craziness and his Tamarrod ... ..I personally find this the best trait in a politician ...just like Youssef bek Karam ! Im liking him more and more ...day by day .. Regards ! |

In Islam, there are differences between shi3a/sunni/druze ...just like there are diff..between maronites /catholic/morthodox .. and there are Divisions between the christians in politics and between the muslims in politics ... but you cannot say that since LF and FPM are divided then the chrsitians religiously are !! and even if you mean politically, also there are muslim figures on different lines like HA/ Hariri ...Karameh/hariri ...etc ... the divisions in lebanon happen with all religions ! We have to fix them ..but our priority should be Lebanon United !:) |

- Samir geagea: what he did for christians?? well many things w the most important thing eno killed us... i live in furn el chebbeck, w Samir Geagea w taweb3o were helping sirya "la ye7er2o din lebnen" w he didnt take in consideration that 4/4 from the pple who live in ain-remeneh, furn el chebbeck, to7wita...were christians so i cantb tell u how much i hate this person... - Bachir Gemayel: i donno him, bas dad adore him, w he told me many gr8 things abt him...w eno he was our Hope - General Aoun: i adore him, respect him, hes our Hope...and represents us...w im not saying that bcz im an FPMer...eno we r educated persons and we can deffrenciate btw gd & bad pple...w GMA is one of the greatest leaders... |

Bachir Gemayel : The best among all of them , he was clean he worked for the christian community and lebanon he was the hope of lebanon and those who accuse him of being a murderer and dirty , read history and dont talk for the sake of talking Michel Aoun : Clean, Respect him Samir Geagea : Made mistakes in the past , Respect Him as well.. |

Bachir Gemayel : excelent leader, clean person, popular...but he didn't have time 2 rule. Samir GeaGea : 100% the opposit of Bachir...dont consider him as a christian leader. General Aoun : excelent leader, clean person, very popular....and he is working for lebanon as much as 4 the christians |

Actually i don't see general aoun as a Christian leader but as a patriotic leader.
It's true that he represent the biggest part of Christians but it doesn't mean he's a christian leader because he works for lebanon including the christians of course. That's actually the problem i face with some FPMers who think that FPM is a christian party which is WRONG! I have lot of friends who are non christian and FPMers and worked real hard during the syrian occupation and still working even thought some of them were affected by the media that shows FPM as a christian party like LF or Kateeb... talking about christian leaders. samir geagea actually have done terrible things to the christian community. Bachir gmayel had a huge popularity among christians but he made many mistakes especially by sending samir geagea to kill tony franjiyeh and his family. Amin gmayel: no longer counted as christian leader since he no longer represent enough base. Dany Chamoun: clear person and knew what he wanted he was excluded many times and he never changed his views i do have lot of respect to Dany but not for his brother who's kinda lost and destroyed the ahrar which almost disapeared or merged in the FPM base most likely. |
