It is really a nice thing to watch, I had the opportunity to watch it live here in canada in an air show, where an F18 SuperHornet was doing a show and flying on a low altitude by the sound speed. Trust me ,not that much fun for the ears..

أغلب طائرات الركاب تطير بسرعة بين 500 إلى 700 كم/س
وكل الطائرات لمّا تتحرك بتطلّع صوت ناتج عن المحركات أو ناتج عن ضغط الهواء أمامها، وهيدا الصوت نظراً لكونه أسرع من الطائرة فهو بيتقدمها وبيسبقها الطائرات الأسرع من الصوت لمّا تقترب من سرعة الصوت فإن فرق السرعة بين الطائرة وبين موجات الصوت بيصير يقل تدريجيا وبيصير فيه موجات الصوت أمام الطائرة حتى ينعدم الفرق بين سرعة الطائرة وسرعة الصوت لمّا تصل الطائرة لسرعة الصوت تماما(سرعة الصوت 1152 كم/س تقريباً )اً ساعتها تنطلق موجات الصوت من الطائرة بس ما بتبيعد عنها لأن اطائرة تسير بنفس سرعة الصوت، فبيبقى الصوت متركزعلى الطائرة حيث تنضغط الموجات الصوتية في مقدمة الطائرة وعند المحركات فيتكون ما يشبه الجدار من مجموعة التضاغطات الصوتية أمام الطائرة... يكون هذا الجدار عنده كثافة عالية لدرجة فينا نشوفه ولمّا تزيد سرعة الطائرة لأسرع من الصوت فالجدار ما حتزيد سرعته لأن سرعته ثابته فتتقدم الطائرة تدريجيا وتخترق هيدا الجدار... وأثناء اختراقه بيطلّع صوت قوي نتيجة تحطم التضاغطات هيده التي تخترقها الطائرة، بيكون الصوت أول وقت الاختراق قوي كتير بعدين بكمّل الصوت مثل الهدير طالما الطائرة تطير بسرعة تفوق سرعة الصوت...
