Car Used in Gemayel's Killing Busted in North Lebanon
Security forces confiscated a car believed to have been used in the assassination of anti-Syrian legislator Pierre Gemayel seven months ago, a reliable source told Naharnet.
The source speaking on condition of anonymity, said the Japanese-made Honda vehicle, which is believed to have been used in Gemayel's killing, was busted in north Lebanon. The industry minister was shot in the head at point-blank range in broad daylight on Nov. 21. At the time, one escort said two cars took Gemayel's convoy by surprise. One rammed his Kia automobile from behind, while an assassin stepped out of another vehicle and shot the legislator in his car. A bodyguard was also killed. "We have evidence, solid enough to make us believe it is one of the cars used by the assassins" who gunned down Gemayel in Beirut's northeastern suburb of new Jdeideh. However, he said "further laboratory tests to be conducted abroad will provide the definite answer." The source refused to disclose further details. Gemayel was a prominent member of the anti-Syrian March 14 majority alliance that backs Premier Fouad Saniora's government. His killing, as well as that of legislator Walid Eido earlier this month, had been blamed by the Saniora government on Syrian President Bashar Assad's regime. Damascus has denied the charges. The ones who killed Pierre Gemayel were pretty much assured that they knew his whereabouts exactly, what car is he driving, where is he heading, what road will he take, so plz spare us the on-over loop about hizbullah or any other opposition party . GMA could have easily not let a place to Pierre Gemayel in the elections and hek he wouldn't have smell the mp seat.
But as usual : "Khayran ta3mil, sharran tel2a." The ones who killed Pierre Gemayel are simply the ones who benefitted from his death to speed up the course of their actions regarding the USA-Israeili plan in spreading the chaos in Lebanon. These 2 countries are the new gardiens of the interests of the Jewish Lobby here. Who can say no to any of their demands? Bush, Olmert, Sanioura , who? Ahmad Gebril's involvement
Reliable sources informed on the investigation in ex-minister Pierre Gemayel's assassination told Naharnet Friday that Ahmed Jibril's Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command played a role in the crime.
The sources said a vehicle used in the assassination, a Honda VRC, was stolen from the mountain resort of Brummana in October 2006 and taken to an area in the northern sector of the eastern Bekaa valley where can bandits operate. Shortly after that, a member of Jibril's Syrian-backed PFLP-GC approached the gang and bartered the car for a quantity of weapons, the sources added. The car was used in the Nov. 21 assassination of Gemayel in Suburban Jdaideh, almost a month after it was stolen from Brummana, the sources added. The vehicle was later driven to Syria, which turned it back to Lebanon in Dec. 2006 in line with a warrant issued by the Interpol, they explained. One source said lab tests showed that the car was used in the Gemayel assassination and two of the gunmen who used it were killed later in clashes between Lebanese Forces and Fatah al-Islam terrorists in Tripoli's Mitein street on May 20. Bodies of the gunmen and samples taken from the car were under lab tests to determine identities of all the culprits who gunned down Gemayel, the source added. He said all details related to the investigation in Gemayel killing and the Fatah al-Islam link have been relayed to the U.N. committee investigating the 2005 killing of ex-Premier Rafik Hariri and related crimes. اعترافات موقوف وسيارة "الهوندا" تدفع التحقيق في اغتيال الجميّل افادت "وكالة الانباء المركزية" امس ان الاجهزة الامنية وضعت يدها على خيوط اساسية في قضية اغتيال النائب الشهيد بيار الجميل. ونقلت عن مصادر معينة ان اجهزة التحقيق المختصة ضبطت افادة احد الموقوفين من غير اللبنانيين في هذا الملف وقد اعترف باشتراكه في التنفيذ، لافتة الى ان المحققين وقعوا على ارتباط بين الجريمة والتفجير المزدوج في الحافلتين في عين علق والاحداث اللاحقة في مخيم نهر البارد. واوضحت ان نقطة الضعف في جريمة اغتيال الجميل كانت السلاح المستعمل، اذ ان مظروفات الرصاص المستعمل في مسرح الجريمة تحوي في ذاتها بصمات من الدولة او الجهة المصنعة، واستطرادا الدولة او الجهة التي استوردت هذا النوع من السلاح او الذخيرة المستعملة، في حين ان الاغتيالات او التفجيرات السابقة التي استعملت فيها العبوات او السيارات المفخخة كانت اقرب الى الجريمة الكاملة. ولفتت الى ان الاجهزة الامنية استدرجت من خارج لبنان وبعملية امنية – استخبارية معقدة، السيارة الاساسية المشتبه في ان الجناة استعملوها في جريمتهم، وهي من نوع هوندا CRV رباعية الدفع وداكنة اللون. وتجري عليها راهنا الفحوص الجنائية والعلمية للبحث عما يؤشر الى هوية الجناة او لايجاد اي من آثار الحمض النووي الريبي لهؤلاء. وكشفت ان الاعلان عن هذه الخيوط قد اصبح قريبا، وهو مرتبط ببعض الآليات القضائية واللوجستية. |

كشف مصدر أمني واسع الاطلاع لـ«السفير» أن التحقيقات مع اللبناني أحمد مرعي الموقوف في قضية «فتح الاسلام» باعتباره أحد المسؤولين عن تجنيد المتطوعين فيها، أظهرت دور تنظيم «فتح الاسلام» في جريمة اغتيال الوزير والنائب الشهيد بيار أمين الجميل. وقال المصدر ان «الانتربول» اللبناني تلقى مؤخرا اتصالا من ادارة الجمارك السورية حول وجود سيارة «هوندا» (سي آر في) يشتبه بأنها لبنانية موجودة لدى أحد مراكز الجمارك السورية وأن هذه السيارة قد وجدت معطلة على الطريق الدولية بين سوريا وتركيا وخالية من ركابها. وبعد تبادل معلومات حول رقم «شاسيه» السيارة، تبين أنها سيارة لبنانية مسروقة وأن صاحبها قد قام بقبض مبلغ التأمين عليها من الشركة المؤمنة لديها، لذلك، توجه مندوب شركة التأمين اللبنانية الى مركز ادارة الجمارك السورية وتسلم هناك السيارة وتم وضع محضر رسمي بذلك، ثم تم نقل السيارة مقطورة الى بيروت، حيث تسلمها فرع المعلومات في قوى الأمن الداخلي. وفور استلامها أجريت عليها فحوص أولية استنادا الى افادة أحمد مرعي، فتبين أنها السيارة التي استعملت في جريمة اغتيال الوزير بيار الجميل. ومن أجل تأكيد ذلك، وخاصة أن السيارة المذكورة اصطدمت وقتذاك بمؤخرة سيارة الوزير الجميل، تمت الاستعانة بلجنة التحقيق الدولية لاجراء الفحوصات اللازمة على مقدمة السيارة وما علق عليها من لون السيارة المستأجرة التي كان يستعملها الجميل. وتبين من خلال المعاينة الأولية أن السيارة مصابة بطلق ناري في سقفها من دون أن يخترقه، كما عثر في صندوقها الخلفي على لوحات تسجيل لبنانية لها بينما يوجد عليها لوحتان تابعتان لاحدى الدول الخليجية. وقالت مصادر قضائية لـ«السفير» ان لجنة التحقيق الدولية المكلفة بالتحقيق في جريمة اغتيال الجميل طلبت بصمات اثنين من قتلى «فتح الاسلام» في عملية مداهمة القوى الأمنية لشارع «المئتين»، أحدهما الملقب بـ«ابو يزن»، وذلك من أجل مقارنة البصمات بما عثر عليه من مظاريف الطلقات النارية في مكان الجريمة. وبالفعل، تم تسليم لجنة التحقيق ما طلبته من بصمات وكذلك سيارة «الهوندا» التي تم ارسال عينات من دهان مقدمتها من أجل فحصه في أحد المختبرات الأوروبية المتخصصة. ورجحت المصادر القضائية نفسها أنه بما يتعلق بمقارنة البصمات فان النتائج ايجابية، أي أن هناك تطابقا في البصمات بين القتيلين من «فتح الاسلام» وما وجد على مظاريف الطلقات الناري |

قوى الامن تهيب بوسائل الإعلام التريث بتداول معلومات حول إغتيال الوزير الجميل صدر عن المديرية العامة لقوى الأمن الداخلي ـ شعبة العلاقات العامة ما يلي :"تناقلت وسائل الإعلام معلومات أن ثمة معطيات يعمل عليها التحقيق لجهة سيارة هوندا CRV يشتبه في أن يكون الجناة استعملوها في تنفيذ جريمة اغتيال النائب والوزير الشهيد بيار الجميل". "أمام هذا الواقع يهم المديرية العامة لقوى الأمن الداخلي أن توضح ما يلي : إن العمل على هذه المعطيات يجري بواسطة الأجهزة الأمنية المختصة محليا وكذلك لجنة التحقيق الدولية وإن السيارة المذكورة وكافة محتوياتها، تخضع لعملية تحليل مخبري ودراسة فنية دقيقة". معتقلان من "فتح الإسلام" اعترفا بتنفيذ الجريمة: "أبو يزن" أفرغ سلاحه في رأس الوزير الجميل علمت »السياسة« من مصادر موثوقة ان منفذي عملية اغتيال الوزير بيار امين الجميل هم اربعة ارهابيين من عصابة»فتح الاسلام«,اثنان منهما قتلا خلال مشاركتهما في المعارك ضد الجيش اللبناني في شمال لبنان احدهما يدعى »ابو يزن« الذي قتل في شارع المئتين في طرابلس. وقالت المصادر ان الارهابيين الاخرين اللذين قبض عليهما, وهما فلسطينيان من مخيم نهر البارد, اعترفا بمشاركتهما في تنفيذ عملية الاغتيال, واوضحا خلال اعترافهما ان المدعو ابو يزن هو الشخص الذي ترجل من السيارة التي اعترضت سيارة الجميل وأجهز عليه من خلال افراغ مخزن سلاحه الحربي في رأسه. واضافت المصادر ان اثنين اخرين بالاضافة الى الارهابيين الاربعة ينتميان ايضا الى فتح الاسلام شاركا في تسهيل تنفيذ العملية من خلال المراقبة وتامين الحماية للقتلة. مشيرة الى ان هذه الاعترافات ستعرض عبر شاشة التلفزة عندما يحين الوقت المناسب, ومن ضمنها الاعترافات بان الارهابي ابو يزن هو الذي اعدم الجميل السياسة |

ذكرت مصادر واسعة الاطّلاع أن تطوراً سلبياً إضافياً طرأ على التحقيقات في جريمة اغتيال النائب بيار الجميل، وتمثّل في توصل التحقيقات الجنائية والمخبرية إلى سيارة الهوندا ـــــ CRV، إلّا أن السيارة الموجودة الآن بحوزة القوى الأمنية ليست هي السيارة التي استُخدمت في الجريمة، إضافةً إلى الأمور الأخرى التي تخص عدداً من قتلى فتح ـــــ الإسلام، حيث أفاد موقوفون أنهم سمعوا منهم معلومات عن الجريمة. وهو الأمر الذي دفع رئيس اللجنة الدولية سيرج براميرتس الى إبلاغ الرئيس أمين الجميل أن الأمور لا تزال في بدايتها http://www.tayyar.org/img/logos/akhbar.gif |
