Re: Women´s rights ... to be or not to be !
Let me give u a gd example & show you where Women Are Today:
years ago, u used to drive ur car & ur girl next to you.. So when u get mad of her or when she feels pissed, she opens the car's door & leave... Today, she drives the car & tells to the man next to her: Don't brake the door on ur way out... so I think women got their rights to do whatever they wanna do, but it just happens that a small little percentage of men seems to be NON-EDUCATED & NON-RAISED! |
Re: women's rights
i do believe that women everywhere got their rights, and these rights hene nesbe bi nazar kel ensen
Even in Europe & America a low % of women who reached a high position in any Co or its hard to find a woman who build her own business, eno l % ktir alil Now In Leb, im sure eno the women got their rights, bas mse2be eno l mara l 3arabiye mana metmarde so eza ma 3refit testafid men her rights so its her fault. At the same time, u can still find some communities metchadedin for exp bi diya3 lebneniye ba3doun met3al2in bi ta2alidoun so hayda bisir no3 men takhalouf N.B: Even if the whole world didnt admit it bas we all know eno God gave the women more thn she can handle w bi tari2a gher moubashara l 7a2 l 3ateha yeh 2a2wa men kel 72ou2, and im talking abt the right to give birth to a new baby w 2 handle it for 9months, so starting from here i think eno we've smthg that men wont ever have, no1 fi y2ashetna hayda l 7a2 A woman can work: mecanicienne, dr, advocate, professor... she can works as a Taxi, mmmm fiya tkoun neybe w wazira...she can do whatever she wants and she can be at the same time a mother & a father, However a man can do also all these tasks but he wont ever be able to took a woman's place as a mother and wont ever have this Gift to give a birth for a baby he can be only a partner -->So law shou ma n2al Woman ekhda kel 72ou2a w aktar men 72ou2a bas hiye w shatareta kif bta3rif tekhoud w tousal la 7a2a Merci |

Re: women's rights
It depends on societies and The arab world is made by different societies many who are very close like KSA, Kuwait... The ones who are more open like Egypt , Syria... And more open like Lebanon.
The Lebanese society still have in many places still have the thinking of man goes to work and woman stay home raise kids and for bed even in some places families still choose the life partner of their daughter. In another hand we can see big improvement when it comes to work where we can notice that woman became a very effective producer in the Lebanese society and occupying high ranks (except in politics unfortunately). I believe that religious thoughts are a main reason to limit women's rights. Let's not forget that a woman needs her husband approval to travel or to create a bank account... (which is very retarded and needs to be modified) even thought it's not being applied. |
Re: women's rights
well im wiz women rights not just wiz these civil right, im wiz the women rights of thinking, in the arab world the problem isnt abt civil rights only its abt a lack of confidence and a way of behave eno how can u give a woman her rights and he stills beleive that she is a minor species this is what we should work on, our women should know that they are more than a product she is a value, as dima said she can give life,
as for men really i feel shame when i see "kidos=silly man" treating women like this, enno man where is ur brain?! enno man respect her she is going to give birth to your shildren and raise them |
Re: women's rights
Well im sure that the woman did not get all of her rights yet...The best example is that the woman is not allowed to drive nor work in Saudi Arabia...Im sure that if the world keep thinking that the man has to be dominant over the woman, then for sure the woman will never get control over her whole rights...Especially in the arabic countries, like Saudi Arabia...Yeah...Its racisim against women...In arabic countries especially, and some countries abroad, people beleive that the man should control the woman...Its like were living in the Stone Age...People need to get out of this mentality and know this once and for all...God created us all and we are even!!! No one dominates another person!!!

Re: women's rights

Re: women's rights
Well there are different levels of respect for women's right in Lebanon.
-Fi "Normal" people, a woman is respected... -Fi Bala Mokh people, woman is a sel3a in the man's hand -Fi the law that still needs a lot of works. Masslane in Lebanon if the father dies his relatives have the right to take the children more then the mom!!! same thing for his belongings and those stuff! that's just an example to tell you that the environment you are living in is more advanced then the laws in the country so don't think there is nothing to change you have a lot to change! |
Re: women's rights
i think that the women in the arabic world in general made a good step , now she can vote in the elections, she can work she can go and make her future BUT !! unfortunately woman are: " l 7alaka l ad3af " roghem kel tad7iyeta w mousebareta :( WHY ?? cz they think that the women can't work hard physically and can't support pain or some men think that she have a retard mental and she needs a lot of time to understand what they understand in few seconds  wich is completely wrong !!!! ( cz in 3/4 grades, girls are the first in the class )
cz no one knows the pain of having a baby inside a woman and all the consequences .. and noone can support the pain when a women want to reach a goal and all the society isn't appreciating her O_o w l a7la when we say we want a space from the society we need المساواة we get an answer so u have to loose ur feminity , when ur equal to a man , u didn't have to enter before him the ascenceur or the room maslan , the look for details wtf !! we are the half of the world and they are too cz man can't live alone neither woman !! |
