RSS Feeds

the RSS feeds is a very gd way to keep an eye on news and websites that u care about.
to subscribe to RSS feeds-if it's provided by the web-you should see the rss icon in the address bar or in the site.
the RSS will check wat u subscribe to each time ur browser is ON.

u can also download a firefox extension called wizzrss or any other rss reader to keep updated with RSS news, example: i subscribed with gmail and put it on a watch list provided by wizzrss extension so every 10min the rss feeds are updated.

it is mostly helpful with BLOG sites, and sites that are updated regularly, so that you don't have to enter the site to see if there is anything new, it is the live bookmark that tells you what's new. it saves time and make things easy.
if you are still clueless and you don't know what the hell we are talking about.. have u seen this logo?

its easy systa.
in a web site like facebook there is notification.
u can subscribe to 'em.
so whenever u have new notification u will be notified via the rss feeds that will be a bookmark that show you new notification.

We have a "New Posts" page u can access from the bar on the top, w mana m3aj2a, I was working on an desktop gadget that could use the html code and take the posts and the links from the page and show them bass I abandoned the project for a better Idea I got.

bas the rss feeds show u some words abt the subject or the topic and u cant see everything until u load it.
so it will be better to check the forum, it will be the same, if not better kamen.

I'll have to check eventually bass I won't have to check to see if there is something new, I will check to see the new stuff.

hala2 fi 1000s of sites that use rss and millions that use feeds w u want to disregard the hole idea of feeds as useless!?

Yes i agree with Lebanese_a we should add rss to vcoderz community and maybe the website later for new downloads, articles...
However, the news you see in vcoderz homepage passing in the marquee in the top of the page are rss loaded from tayyar.org so every time tayyar.org add new stuff we will have them in vcoderz :)

I believe it will be another option for people like Lebanese_a who uses RSS for the website they check often.
