Facebook and other similar site
 
It's becoming obvious what Lebanese and other arabs are crazy about social networking sites...

My friends, especially the girls, spend 2-3 hours each day on these site that include
- Facebook.com
- Jawwna.com (specialized for Lebanese and Arabs)
- Tagged.com
- Myspace.com
and the others...

This is too much...

social networking sites are not only being massively used by arabs, but they are widely used around the globe, as u can see from this alexa ranking page,
the social networking sites are occupying advanced places. notice
6- myspace
7- orkut (google)
10- facebook
11- hi5
16- friendster
29-skyrock
30- flickr

I deleted my facebook account as a reason of being bored and I find it tooo creepy and childlish... oh plz gimme a comment so I can comment back... eno who caaaaares?!

Lebanese and arabs are nothing comparing to american and canadians who are real crazy about facebook hi5...
So far facebook is the nicest it's not only about looking for people and ta2 7anak it's really interesting it's kinda of online community...

come on. the groups on facebook are gr8 4 conservation 4 ones who share similar ideas. hala2 akiiid feeeh some silly things about writing on walls and uploading shi 100 pic, bas communicating by messages through fbook is much easier than hotmial,yahoo, etc..
and the most important thing on fbook is Texas Poker:-)

wats interesting there is the groups thing , but theres absolutely no censorship from the facebook admins!! many violations are being practised there , and nothing is being done , groups attacking shiites , sunnists , and such things can have alot of damage !

That's correct but nothing is perfect, However they don't give a damn as long their invention is growing this way especially when it comes to arabic groups, it's not that they're not paying attention they're more likely trying to reflect things as they are with fancy and good rules but trust me that's what gives facebook's charm, few rules are applied just like the real world lol.

u know i meet more than 20 of my olllld friends min l petit jardin wel grand jardin on facebook , i think from this point i like it so mych w i don't spend a lot of time on it , just when i'm bored ! w i meet ppl i had just forget about them !! :o:o

All these websites are like online public CIA stuff.. You want info about someone? search facebook! You can get an address, a phone number, a work location, learn about habits, preferences, cultures, know the friends, etc.. So if you're planning to stalk someone you don't need to carry your binoculars and run after them in the dark anymore, that's the easier way !
I say BS big time, if you're really interested in online communities and discussion groups I suggest you check the Usenet newsgroups (Google it); it's broader, has far more people, you can find all expertise you need in techy groups, and so on..
