i didn't know where to post this but i think it's the best place since the thread is called suggestion.....isn't it better to keep the edit button all the time and not let it disappear after dunno how much time? enno eza kermel l quote can't you make the edit button only disappear if somebody's quoted u?.....

once you have posted in the community, all the materials become a courtesy of vcoderz.com. we can't allow the manipulation of posts after a long time from being posted.
plus suppose that you opened a thread and a whole discussion was based on what you have posted in it, and after 2-3 days you decided to edit your thread's content and change the whole subject. what would happen then ?

I also suggest making an announcement in all sections about the forum rules :huh:
possibly a detailed and very clear set of rules that can be relied on to solve any mod/member disagreement :huh:

I'll make it short. There is an important feature that you are not using here in the forum. The "Thread Rating Feature".
The thread rating feature is an important thing that helps improving the quality of threads in the forum. It is .... (Don't have time to explain how important it is). Simply, "Thread Rating" => is something good.

For people who don't know what I'm talking about. These are two pictures:

So. Let's start rating threads.

Note that you don't need to start from now and traverse the forum rating each thread in it. What you have to do, is to remember to rate each thread after you visit it.

i dont agree on that, VcoderZ.com, where you belong is not just a phrase, we faced many troubles, issues, negatives and we have been bashed by many ppl but we stood together as a family, i consider the forum my 2nd family. do VcoderZ.com = Family, is where we belong = belonging to that family :D

moreover, changing a slogan that lasted longer than 4 years, is like Pele and maradona moving to play basketball lool

We're all grown up here, so why don't we lighten up the censor a little bit.
If we're telling a joke in the Funny Section, words like "F*ck" are censored and we'd have to use stars like I just did.

true, but 95% of the times such words are used in bad contexts.

No they're not. We say the word **** everywhere. It represents an emotion, reaction whatever. When I see it censored I imagine a little child going "OMG you said the F word" and that kind of silly reaction. On the other hand although vcoderz members are respectable , some members might come and use it in childish and pretentious matters. However, in principle I think such words shouldn;t be censored.
And it was good allowing the signatures ofcourse without images and without too much lines. The way it is is very good. Having signatures is better than avatars to be honest.
