Does anyone know how I can play online here in Leb?I'm not going to get ADSL because its still limited. I've Read that Wise gives unlimited access at nights though. So I was wondering if 512kbps up and 64 down would be fine for online gaming without lag?

it would be okay man u can try it... if u have the 60gb u will have WIFI internet if u have the 20gb ps3 u have to put the cable in which is think is better for lebanon cs WIFI wastes bandwith, i use the wifi anywayz i have a fast internet so i don't have to worry about the lost bandwith :P

I have the 60GB. Im not worried about the connections just thinking if it would run smoothly. Im not gonna pay 300$ for try it ;P. I need to know if it works well to install the hardware.

512 up and 64 down? u sure or the inverse of that?
i suggest u see the read me files of certain PS3-online-multiplayer-games and check the minimum required bandwidth.

lol, kingroudy your right, Ive written that wrong. Its 512 down 64 up.

The thing is that the games dont write the requirements.

man 512kbps down and 64kbps is not bad for online gaming it will work without problems but u know connection in lebanon how it is so i think that u will have problems but not all the time :) so u can still play it well man. And then it depends from the server u are trying to connect to. If it's a famous online game and too many people playing u might have some lagging during the game...
