what are the lebanese worst habits and thoughts , in your opinion ?

give us example from your daily life, from what you experienced , what you saw , or your own bad habits .

for example, the lebanese people think that they are the best and the smartest in the world , which is not true obviously .

the lebanese don't pay their bills , and protest if someone criticize that .

there are many examples, and it would be good to list them

Us lebanese tend to care about appearances. We also tend to delay our appointments alot, we're a very lazy bunch:p

I will try to some up as much as I can remember:

1- Intolerance to Criticism

2- Sectarianism,obviously

3-They tend to lie at a higher rate than other ppl, the worse part is when they lie just to make up stories for conversations

4-Hypocrisy: they are masters at showing you that they like u when they actually wish u were dead:)

5-Pretentiousness

6-Narcissism

I used to think they are overly cynical, but the way they believe and follow there politicians blindly proves this point wrong...Obviously,not all Lebanese have the descriptions I gave, but when you look at the standards of the Lebanese society especially the interaction and communication between its members you will notice that most of these standards are built somehow on the assumption that most Lebanese have these traits..

other than the guyz stated above, here's my list:

- Follow a leader so blindly no matter whom or what he is
- Smart but Stupid at the same time
- Crazy :D
- Proud of being under somebody's control :S
- Always Under pressure
- Knows the absolute Truth & act blindly
- Forget easily
- Hate
- You have Money then, I must love you
- "Ahla w sahla bel gharib w ejre bi ni3o la 5aye"
- Trust = betray (not love, in business too)

but what i really appreciate the most is the fact that we know how to live, how to maintain bad situations, we lived a tough past & still living its consequences, ppl forgive easily...

-they walk with the most walking (byemshou ma3 L meshe:P)
-they cheer blindly
-they forget fast
-they flip-flop like a J-K FLIP-FLOP with both inputs equal to 1 :hawhaw:
-each thinks that he's higher than the state, and the others.
-the ownership of a gun makes a guy work for 3 months to afford it, just because he wants to have a gun.
-they hate at first, then decide to like a person or not.
-appearances are very important, why not having a new BMW 328 jnouta fat7et sa2ef? but they miss to visit the doctors.

lebanese are easily brainwashed
lebanese can be sold and bought at any moment
lebanese cannot achieve what they have started without any recommendation from a populist
lebanese are used to being supported from an outsider!

few lebanese are patriots...
