akid no, the music is always more important take Metalica as an example, each one of theme looks like a devil but still they have awesome songs (Fade 2 Black, The Unforgiven....)

Any Metalica fan will understand what I am saying :D

You missed the whole point...for their music they should like "devils"....

I personally don't care for what the band looks like but I know that it helps them in the marketing and selling process because a matter of fact is that most people are affected by the imagery...

Did u actually know how they look like ??? as the matter of fact if u didn't just watch the Unforgiven II video clip and u will see what I am talking about

all those other wannabes who's best view of their videoclips is with the tv muted...
so basically.. in my opinion.. bands are more into music..singers work more on their image..
THERE ARE EXCEPTIONS!( so u dnt tell me enno black n metal bands with white faces and makeup and spikes and that sort v stuff:P)

Guys have you seen Jaques Brele?
ok i'll show it to you he is one of the best singers of the world he was so ugly but he still till nowadays a best seller and an idol to many

BB King.the king of blues, Steve Tyler (Aerosmith) Freddy Mercury (Queen), Carlos Santana, Jimmy Page (guitarist - Led zeppelin), Robby Kreiger (Guitarist - the doors) Ozzy Osbourn, Jimmy Hendrix, Roonie Dio, Marlon Manson :S , Joe satriani.... all of those stars werent that good looking and actually they were ugly but they made their own style, personalty and their charisma and as GMA said it's all about the intro and outro from the stage (the Johnny Holiday example :p).
so i guess it's a good example that the music that matter and not the Look eventhough and unfortunatly a good looking image sells more, like what is happening in lebanon all singers gives priority to their look more than the music so recently im watching clips and i mute the volume, coz it's good for the eyes but bad to the ears. and what makes me said the most is when an excelent vocalist waste his time fixing his hair on the stage rather than fixing and tuning his vocal strings hehe
