Chimps outperformed university students..

Until now, it had always been assumed that chimps could not match humans in memory and other mental skills.

However this research suggests that chimpanzees have an extraordinary photographic memory that is far superior to ours.

A lot of people believe naively that humans are the most intelligent (creatures) on this planet....
i once read that research also found that the older the chimpanzees got, the worse their memory and that all the young chimpanzees had better numerical recollection than human adults :|
In my opinion chimps display a remarkable range of behavior and talent :D :D :D

I simply dont care, why? well... We're humans & no animal can take our place & think about it, the human being never was a champ neither a monkey neither a dolphin... we are we... so comparing animals to us is a shame to the human race!!

We were not a chimp but we have common ancestors :)

I will be the source of shame and compare animals to us...They beat us in physical energy, power, agility,endurance, sexual drive...thats the physical stuff...

For the first time we were outperformed with the only thing we are proud of, our brain capacity(in this case short photographic memory)...I couldn't be happier, humans need a lesson in humility....

well in philosophy last year we were told that the animals ''smartnes'' is just illusions given by certain actions they do..which r indeed a result of instinct..! and abt the chimps, kamen anno the smartest chimp has a degree of smartness equals 2 a mind of a 2- or 3- years old child!...
but am agnst that.. becoz animals wth time, practice nd learnin, cud b real smart nd practical...not equal 2 human ( whom r gifted by their BRAIN!) ...but i just dunn neglect that animals really have a degree of smartness that can b developed... @ the same time i dooooooo! refuse darwins theory! that humans r chimps nd blablabla!!
