I'd like to thank all of you who have participated in any form of honoring my uncle the martyr hero brigadier general Francois el Hage, on the behalf of the family a huge thank to all the lebanese people who stood loyal to the lebanese army - the only institution that kept this society alive, to the hero that believed in this institution and believed in the lebanese youth and lebanese dream.

Z, i envy you to be part of such patriotic family, to be the nephew of such patriotic man!

True heros never die, their legend live in us and for us, for the futur of our children, for the salvation of the only country we worship, u worship, and ur uncle worshiped to the point of sacrificing his life for it: Lebanon.

I am so blessed to live in a time that i can tell my children later the story of men who forged the meaning of freedom and courage with their blood, and ur Uncle is on top of this life-memorable era.

We salute U and we are next to u and with u. Count on us in continuing the path of the hero General Francois Hajj and all the martyrs!

A Special Poem Dedicated to the hero General Francois Hajj & all the martyrs!

They ask him why he's goin' to fight.
They fail to see what's on the line,
all their freedoms, all their rights.
Comprehension is beyond their grasps
that someone's got to go.
& while every breath may be his last
no fear, no doubt will he ever show.
Cuz he knows that if he dies
that his valiant efforts may save the lives
of his family & friends.
& that family picture in his pocket,
though how he longs to hold them
will forever be carried in the heart
of this true Lebanese Soldier!!

Z u don't have to thank us , all we did is gave Francois El Hajj the respect that he deserves, he has been a true hero no doubt about it, and as many apointed Francois El Hajj is always in our heart, and I think u should be proud of having Francois El Hajj as ur uncle....
