Screen/Help
Guys my friend had to change his motherboard so i bought him a used one [ i tried it in the store it was in gr8 condition ].. i placed it in the case and pluged all the cables ... Everythin is in its place '' CPU FAN - Psup - RAM.. '' now i turn on the pc it starts normal.. then after a short period of time the screen turns off but evrtn else is still runin!! :S.. i plugged a VGA to the motherboard and still im gettin the same prob.. also i tried another monitor and ntn has changed.. Any1 can help?? tnx! :) |

it is not a screen problem, it is something from the bios, i guess that the screen resolution is set to something the monitor can't display.
in the bios somewhere, u should restore to the last known good configuration. |

I cant work on the pc ya3ne when i turn it on.. chi 10 secs w lscreen turns off !:s.. ma32oul ykoun smtn bl hardware ??

I dont think rebooting the bios is possible on such an old model.
..... But at least try, go to a hardware store and ask if the technician can reboot or reinstall ur bios. I think reinstalling the bios on ur model is possible. |

if u would like to a risk(not advised o do so)
u can check for ur MOBO on the net and see how to mve the jumpers in a way to reload ur bios. |

I dont think its possible to reload the bios on older motherboards, only newer ones offer that feature.
He might have to reinstall it. |
