Weird!!!!

Guys i was chatting with my friend in lebanon and he asked me about a website that he can download some nadbeyet from so i gave www.shiavoice.com and then i t gave him this message:
You are not authorized to view this page
The Web server you are attempting to reach has a list of IP addresses that are not allowed to access the Web site, and the IP address of your browsing computer is on this list.

Shou are we in saudi arabia or something??!!!!!
Or is it this abvious that the govrmt. is fighting the shia?!?!!

where does your friend live?

Coz it may have some relation with the place in lebanon

I tried it w its ok, no problems

the site is allowing IPs, and blocking others, not the government, it worked fine here although my connection comes from germany.
try to reach this site through a proxy server.

He lives in beirut right across the street from jeme3 3abd ilnaser..and he has DSL from ogero!!

Nope with all due my respect its not the website it is the webserver which is located at the ISP site which in this case is ogero, the webserver bala m3almeye 3lek saves websites that users previously visted to decrease ip hops, which makes internet browsing faster..bil3arabi it doesnt have to look for the website again on the internet, it looks in the webserver to locate it...anyways if it worked with u and u have dsl from ogero so i guess my friend is stupid!!:P

ok let me get it strait, your friend have dsl, but from wich isp?? IDM TERRANET B-LINK , SODETEL??? please specify (if he is with terranet then this might be the reason ;) )

Most probably from the website. because in Lebanon we have no blocked websites (in general) they're all accessible.
websites can have a black list IPs.
and yes your ISP can do that which i doubt.
