A crutch for weak people....
Blindness....

Irrationality and Superstition...

The biggest threat and obstacle to civilization...

and finally...a mild form of schizophrenia (no offense)

religion for me is a philosophy of life, it makes me feel safer and like a shrink , eno when i feel frustrated or down i just pray, i dont take it as a law that i shoudl stick to it

Religeon is submittance to the Creator, God the Almighty. Just read about the big bang theory and you'll realize the glory of the Lord.

Without faith we create a huge void gap in our minds that opens the gates to all kinds of evils to penetrate our thoughts, and lead us to weakness and all kinds of wrong doing.

The Salvation of our Lord Jesus Christ was done for a purpose.

So keep faith people, and keep looking forward. :):):)

Yes it can be a crutch for weak people, and it's not a shame to use a crutch if you have broken legs ...
A reason why a strong man (who don't need a crutch) describe religion as a crutch for those who are weak (minded) is because religion answers questions that people can't answer by themselves as "what's the meaning of life?" and "where we go after we die?", etc ... causing varying degree of anxiety in them.

It's like an attempt to ignore an entire belief system by minimizing something which is so complex into a simpler category ...

As Tawa said, Life without religion is like a Jungle.Religion is not something we're obliged to believe in or have faith in blindly, it's more like a way of living cz as u can see in each religion u have some "norms" that socialize ur behaviors. Even if u dnt apply them word by word but they affect ur life directly.

Life without faith = HELL
