guyz well im learing some PHP i got an e-book and i started , i dowloaded the apatche server the php5 and the mysql

but im facing a problem in the link between the apache server and the php, well i did change the directory of the apache server and its not taking it and when i test the status of the sever i got the followig msg :

man should i remove the tools that i installed ?

is this enough so i can use php with its full capability?!

Yes, ma houwe 2el EasyPhp contains an Apache server and a Mysql server...

im having a problem when i turn on the apache server
it gives an eror apache canot be runned :another webserver use the....

i changed the configuration of the server i changed the port from 80 to 8080 and it stills doesnt work

Remove the first apache you installed, it's using port 80 and preventing easyphp from listening to that port. besides installing apache as you did the first time uses lot of your pc resources unlike easyphp. were you using apache2triad?

i was using apache 2.2.8, well xcoder i did uninstalled the previous version of apache that i was using including Mysql and PHP 2.2 and still having the same probelm its telling that i have a firewall blocking the application
and my firewall is off

guyz back again well nothing is working i uninstalled all the manual stuff
and i tried the easy php and still having problems
so do u think is the problem from the vista?!

I have vista w kellou meshe tabi3e, So what problems are you facing? What is the version of your EasyPhp?

EasyPHP-2.0b1 each time i install it it tells me that a firewall or a web application is blocking him and using the same port i changed the port from 80 to 8080 and it doesnt work :)
