Facebook and Firefox

i am facing a problem today with firefox and facebook...
when i try to open facebook with firefox the sign in page opens but when i write the log in information i get this :

The connection has timed out
The server at login.facebook.com is taking too long to respond.

though i can open any other page with firefox and facebook is workin with IE..

can anyone help me with this plz ?

p.s. i tried uninstalling, and downloading again, cookies all cleared bt the problem persisted

u can say too: what abt uninstalling firefox and installing NUTHING ???
bcuz maxthon 2.0.9 is IE with some plugins.
so it will work wiz maxthon bas IE sucks and so is maxthon ;)

I think if you are using windows Vista the problem could not be fix... just use IE on Vista

I use both IE and Firefox on Vista and Firefox is workin fine.

look try opening in another account maybe it's from your account if ur connection isn't fast enough and you have a lot of applications :S i dunno eza ela khossa bass try u won't loose anything!

i tried these all before my connection is very fast and i tried several accounts gheir mine

try to go to : Options > Advanced > Network > Settings

and if ur using a manual proxy see : No proxy for, maybe login.facebook.com is noted there !!!
i'm not sure...
