ESIB rally paper online challenges

hello,
The ESIB rally paper online challenges are not necessarily all related to hacking. Some are more like the steganography challenge (maybe a bit harder), and others will require you to know a bit about encryption algorithms. Finally, sometimes u might not even know were to start/what to look for, and that's part of the challenge.
If you're not participating in the rally, then u wouldn't mind posting ur thoughts/solutions about them...
there are 5 of them. u can find them here: http://www.esibrallypaper.com/Index....nlinechalenges
have fun...

okey hayda elli toli3 minne till now :
- Blur : answer is OMEGA as described above
- 22 : answer is 50310975243 (you have to save the pic and then change the format to txt ... you'll have many solutions, check the number 22)
- Sound Challenge : No idea
- DES algorithm : don't know what the hell DES means
- Decipher :
Iwxh epgpvgpew lph tcrgneits lxiw p qphxr pavdgxiwb iwpi rdchxhih dc hxbean gdipixcv paewpcjbtgxr rwpgpritgh.
--------------------------------------------------------
Iwt hdajixdc ldjas qt iwt aphi ldgs du iwxh tcrgneits epgpvgpew
--------------------------------------------------------
stands for :

This paragraph has encrypted with a basic algorithm that consists on simply rotating alphanumeric characters
--------------------------------------------------------
the solution would be the last word of this encrypted paragraph
--------------------------------------------------------

Hope that helped

Thank You ...

The most common 3 letters word in english is "The" so search for it first ...
iwt : at the beginning of a sentence should be a "The"
so :
i --> t
w --> h
t --> e
and you already established p --> a

lxiw --> **th (both or with, ...)
and so on .....

P.S : in the text i wrote "This paragraph has encrypted .... " it should be "This paragraph was encrypted ..." i just noticed it :p (although later on i used l for w)

Thank You ...

Speaking technically, we say that 15 is the encryption key and 11 is the decryption key...
For example me and my girlfriend agreed to use this encryption as way of communication... If I want to send her an encrypted message I would give her the public key which is 11... she uses this key to decrypt my message...while I use the private key 15 to encrypt the message...
I will post a thread later about encryption and algorithms...
And I will post a javascript code that uses this algorithm to enc/dec ...
