well yeah
I've also seen on news american soldiers playing ball with some kids
american military is better than israeli. they also put soldiers on trial when civilains are killed, and many soldiers did get trialed, unlike israel they just say there were terrorist in the UN school so we had to bomb it :@

of course everyone knows that the majority of americans have been against the war on Iraq ( at least) since the invasion in 2003.
These soldiers probably see their kids, nephews, nieces,... in those iraqi soldiers and if it were their choice, I bet more than 90% of these soldiers would have chosen to stay back home in the US, but, unfortunately, leaders and politicians make such decisions.

only in this specific case
between the US and iraq, there is no chance of seing this between an arab soldier and an israeli baby or vice versa
it's not a matter of more or less human or these being exceptionnaly nice guys. it is that between iraquis and americans, there are no real issues, there is no history of hatred or a real reason to hate each others, the US will eventualy leave the country and that's it problem solved. the US troops don't really understand what they are doing in iraq anyway
whereas in cases like the french and british in world war 2 and the israelis and arabs, it is different. Sure there are nice soldiers on both sides, but we are in a war not because politicians asked us to fight it, but because we hate each others enough and we clearly see the reason of why we are fighting.
so soldiers being nicer than politicians is not a rule
