what do you think?
okay, i was asking for some courses in UAE for my masters, and i was shocked when i knew that the local ppl get a lower price for their credits, ya3ne half what i was asked for!
do you think that this is fair? or what's happening in Lebanon is fair? |
yeah it's fair for the locals to get advantage
after all they have been paying taxes all their lives, whereas you just got there :hawhaw: plus the government cares that their citizens get educated more than they care about you |
Same thing happens in Canada and lot of countries where their citizens are a priority while in Lebanon when you arrive to the Airport Lebanese are the only ones to be checked from top to bottom.

i don't think its fair!
Now iza mani mghalta here in the U.S. there usually isnt an advantadge for someone living here all their lives or newly. as long as u have a green card or all ur paper work u should be good. bas i have a different thing that has blewwww my mind away. i love about 7 miles away from school maybe a little less. it only takes 10 min to get there. anyways if u live within 5 MILES u GO FOR FREE. a person who lives 6 miles pays $37,000 a yr but 5 miles u go for free thats NOT FAIR! bas like jessy said shes been paying taxes from the second she set her foot there its not right i really dont think so. she should pay the same as everyone else. -Miss O. |
No it's not fair.
from the moment you become a legal resident there and pay the taxes you should have the same advantages of local citizens. i live in france, and despite that almost half of the society is racist, the laws give me the right to benefit from social aids (like social security), as the native residents. it's logic, or why to pay taxes. unless the air in UAE is not free, and ur paying taxes to breath :D |
Yeah we r paying the taxes and all the bills and in addition to that, the credit for the masters is going to coast me 1000$ :| and there are 36 credit looooooooooool
the locals pay half this and if they are from a well known family, they get a 70 and 80% sales ): this is really not fair! |
1000$ for a credit :|
you can buy a one for 1600$ from the harrington university of the uk , its better that way lool |
