source 1:
1. Click the Start button. 2. Select All Programs. 3. Select Accessories. 4. Right-click on Command Prompt. 5. Select Run as Administrator. 6. When the UAC prompt appears, click Continue. 7. Type powercfg /hibernate on and press Enter on your keyboard. 8. Close the Command Prompt window. 9. Reboot your PC source 2: Go to Menu Start> All Programs> Accessories Right-clicking on "Command Prompt" Select Run as administrator In the command prompt, type: powercfg -h on at least one of them should work, if not both. |
RUNDLL32.EXE PowrProf.dll,SetSuspendState => This will hibernate your laptop. Use it in the command prompt each time you want to hibernate, or you can put it in a batch file instead and launch the file each time you want to hibernate.
