Thread Proposals...

Thread proposals what's it all about?

Well i know this has happened to me and probably to many of you without really giving it much thought.

I will have a thread idea, but i'll feel that i dont have enough background info, or enough ideas to open a thread.

So in this thread you can just write the short brief idea and then other members who are interested in the subject or seem to know more about it can open a thread using that idea.

Basically its a place to throw around useful thread ideas. I'm sure many of us have those days or nights where we would like to just sit and write but not many things come to mind or at least we dont think theyre that great but they might actually be very nice.

So come to this thread and either grab an idea or give one.

Let's give it a try.

yeah it happenes to me millions of times :hawhaw: instead of clicking submit thread I close it.1) do you think a woman should work and contribute in the family(regardless of the financial status of the family) to gain equality in value and respect in the house as her husband? ): a girl collegue of mine in the lab was arguing that if she doesn't work and pay half of the house's cost and half of the expenses it's going to be his house, and her opinion and decisions will not carry the same weight as it would if she had paid for half of it. and I felt it was true. what do you think?

2) do you think women should have the right to give their last name to her children? and if your wife asks you to give her last name to one of your kids, what would be your answer?

3) do you think children are best raised without religious education, and then they would start being taught religion after the age of 15 ): this argument is for individuals to have more choice and more freedome when picking a religion instead of being raised on it from the startI can't remember more ideas now ):

title: Fear of Death

If one fears death, it can prevent them from being able to enjoy life or many people take under consideration that we should fear of death or else all the promises made by religion would mean very little if ppl simply accepted welcoming death as a perfectly natural part of life, as natural and wonderful as birth.

---------
basically, i have no exact questions to ask, but i find this subject really interesting in many matters:

1- Fear Itself
2- Fear of Death based on religions of God

religion is based on death
sigmund freud argued about this. man believes in God because he fears death(fear of death is one of the reasons according to freud) man loves himself, he loves to stay alive and to have a future, but he knows there is such a thing as death, but he refuses to admit that one day he is going to die and simply cease to exist as if he has never been born, so he invents stories and convinces himself that if he follows a certain patern of worshiping he will come to live again in a different reality

the proof to this theory is that in all religions, since the time of the egyptians with raa and osiris and ballouta :hawhaw: there was always the idea of life after death
and all religions, christians, jews, muslims, acient egyptians, acient greeks, chinese, african religion, statue worshipping... have in common the heaven and hell thingy after death, which is explained by man's desire for happiness, a never ending life and seing his enemies suffer
you want to be superior to others, you cannot magine yourself and the one you hate equaly enjoying an eternity, so you made hell for him and heaven for you

the only exception is religions that believe in reincarnation
