my windows installer is somehow corrupted....

Yesterday, i was installing a program, then windows installer gave me an error that says that the windows installer is corrupted and must be reinstalled
anyone knows what to do or where to get a good copy of windows installer???

i had this problem once, go to microsoft.com,downloads,search for windows installer and download then install and ur done.

man i went there, w i found a windows installer 4.5
w it was written that it works on vista
I downloaded it, w lamma i runned it, they told me the update is incompatible with the operating system :S:S

cld u help me finding the right one?

u have vista right? did u download the 32 bit version or the 64 bit ?

this is where u downloaded it ?

i dont remeber which one cuz it happened a long time ago, i was using xp.
