I need HELP in getting internet into my laptop
 

Guys plz, just let me tell u the whole story and then advise me what to do.

I have a Linksys model WRT54G which is linked into my pc (it has windows XP) and I get internet( I have a 256 speed DSL from terra net) into my laptop ( it has windows Vista) from it. And 3a faj2a yesterday maba3ref shu sar ma kein yimsheh 3indeh el internet. so all I did is restarted the linksys but I am able to connect to the linksys from my laptop after I restarted the linksys. But my major problem is how could I connect to the internet.

As I am connected to the internet, I tried to get an answer form the msn trouble shout so it told me that I have some problem in the default gateway.

Any suggesteions Guys? (plz tell me in details)

do you mean u RESET ur router???

yeah man I mean reseting it. any suggestions ?

I thought of formatting it bcoz ka3eneh w ka3a rif2ateh , so I any suggestions before taking the decision of formatting my laptop?

no ma 5as l format bel router settings, once u set it then format the pc the settings are still the same, u don't have to enter new settings after u format ur pc, u don't notice that? btw i have the same router w kamen dsl bas i didnt understand well ur problem

ok man its easy if u know ur internet connection settings
all you have to do is:
-make sure u are connected to your router
-open internet explorer
-go to: 192.168.1.1
-it will ask u for a username and password:
username:admin
password:admin

-then go to internet connection and put your internet connection settings
if you dont know them u have to contact ur ISP

PS:no need to format ur PC

This explanation I am all with u, but my problem is with my laptop and not with my pc.

So just to tell u I am able to connect through my laptop to my router but not able to enter any website since 3am ya3tineh on my wireless laptop
like that ( Unidentified network) [while I have a Windows Vista on my laptop] bas just to tell u before yesterday kein mesheh 3adeh , and yesterday when I wanted to use my pc, all I did is turned it on and wanted to use msn, I couldnt so I hitted on troubleshoot and got that my default gateway there is an error.

so then I did a reset for my router bcoz I thought that there is something wrong with my router and I have found that there wasnt. SO I did an experiment which I took my router to a friend and replaced his D-link with my Linksys router and found that my linksys router is working. so for now the problem is with my pc.

Is that explanation ok with u to understand my problem?

ok probably u changed your router password so your wireless connection will be limited
try this one on your laptop:
-go to control panel
-open Network and Sharing Center
-on the left click on: Manage Wireless connection
-it open a page that shows all networks that u have used remove the network that connect to your router (right click> remove network)
-then try to reconnect to your router it will ask you for your wifi password
