need for speed help

hey guys , i have need for speed underground 1 (i know it's very old) but i would like to know if it's possible to play it network, i can't find how, in the main menu there's no multiplayer or something like that , there's only if i want to play it with other players online i must connect to EA games online, i don't want that , i want to play it network , so please if anyone can help me with that.

i remember playing nfs ug2 on network , i think ug1 doesnt have network capability. anw why play ug1? get ug2 , its better .
