Balance
Ladies n gentlemen, life itself is based upon balance. There are almost always two, sometimes more sides to any debate, as well as any conflict btw ppl. I would argue that it is necessary that these opposin' viewpoints exist, or else our society would fall apart. We are made to always be in conflict (not necessarily hateful or violent conflict) as to keep things in check. for e.g: Pro-abortion/anti-abortion, theist/atheist, liberal/conservative, socialist/capitalist, etc...
Consider the outcome of any total victory for any side; often it will lead to bitter conclusions in the end. One side with too much power gets everythin' they want, but fails to take into account other things. Perhaps it is best to realize there's room in the world for opposin' views n compromise in the middle to find justice. Basically long story short, the balance of two sides is better than the superiority of one of them. So how open minded you are to accept other points of views which you are against? weither it was a color, a political affiliation, secular or religious, or whatever... ? ... Share Wit' Us:D |
Life is about balance, this is sooooo true. especially in lebanon because people have very different points of view. if one is very attached to his opinion this is called fanatism, and this is sth really dangerous, because if you cannot accept and respect the point of view of others you will be very prejudice towards them. and thus life in society will be really hard.
This is why people should accept other people's opinions, beliefs, religion.... On my behaf I try to do it as much as i can because i know that some people have their beliefs forced upon them or even have opinions different from mine that i should respect and accept. |
It's not a right to have an opinion! Nor a right to accept others opinion!
It's a duty. We're obliged to do so! |
