anyone ever heard a perfect piano piece?? please share it , but please not the boring ' like trance songs ' that keeps on repeating making you bored .

no doubt this is a piece , and the guy is really talentd, but thats not what i want . check the song i mentioned , you know it.

Ancient Rites - The Return

This song is the intro to their album Dim Carcosa. It's mainly a piano piece but with some other stuff in the background and other instruments in the beginning, and some very little singing ( more like talking) in the end. Anyway, the band is metal, so I thought it would be close to haggard. It's awesome , though. The whole album is good too, but I will try not to advertise for it here.:)

Amorphis - Thousand Lakes
Not the best or anything, actually it's pretty normal, but it serves more when listened as an album as a whole.

Also Dream Theater - One Last Time, although the piano passage is mostly in the beginning and then singing. But that small piano passage in the beginning is as beautiful as the most thing you could ever imagine. Beautiful describes it well and very soothing too. A lot of other Dream Theater songs as well like Space Dye Vest.

And if you want something metal-like but not a piano piece but something similar :
Windir - Byrjing : played on the accordion. 3:17 It's the intro song to the album Arntor. Just damn great, one of the best intro songs ever.

Insomnium - Nocturne .. Awesome !!! I's a metal band too but this song is pure piano and awesome. Imagine this song in metal form and you will get a vision of what the whole album is.
