of course i read all topics.
anyway, did u update your AVs?

M|ch 08-21-2009 09:23 PM

i have the latest update

i did a scan for C: it told me there are trojan viruses related to it i deleted them as the antivirus told me

and windows defender also got some files which deleted them

and i got spybot search and destroy (funny name lol ) it caught some files also, but my friend told me i send a link to him after that.

should i do a boot scan ? is it better on avast ?

maybe a boot scan might solve it. try a full scan for your PC and don't let more than 1 AV running at the same time.

try this tool (right click & save target as) its better to use it in safe mode and reboot afterward.

The virus is in %WINPATH% or %WINPATH%/system32. I'm 95% sure.
Go there and delete it.

or it might be in system recovery volume, they usually have these names: A000053.exe somethin like this.

If you wanna really know where it is, get netstat to look for its port then investigate about the executable file online.

It could be depending on the date you restored your PC to and the date the virus infected you PC.
