Never Tell a Dj to...

1. PLAY SOMETHIN' GOOD... SOMETHIN' WE CAN DANCE TO!
The DJ has 2 play for more than 1 person...so what u hate maybe another's favorite song n EVERYTHIN' played here can b danced to one way or another...

2. WOULD U PLAY SOMETHIN' WITH A "BEAT"
BE SERIOUS! We know of NO songs played in a club that don't have some sort of BEAT!

3. I DONNO WHO SINGS IT & I DONNO THE NAME OF THE SONG, BUT IT GOES LIKE THIS: ":mnote:lalalla, :wel3et: , oh yeaaaaaaaa:yayi:!!:mnote:..."

PLZ dun sing 4 the DJ. They have to put up with smoke filled rooms n dangerous decibel levels all night long...Do 'em a favor n DON'T give 'em a rendition of ur favorite song

4. EVERYBODY WANTS TO HEAR IT!
Oh, sure ... u polled everyone in the club n as their spokesperson, u're requestin' the song.

5. EVERYBODY WILL DANCE IF YOU PLAY IT!
The DJ won't. I guess that blows a hole in that theory!

6. I CAN GET LAID IF YOU PLAY IT!
Why settle for 1 night? Buy the album & get laid 4 a whole month!

7. I WANT TO HEAR IT NEXT!
The ONLY ppl who can get away with that statement write the DJ's paycheck!

8. WHAT DO YOU HAVE? It's a lot easier for u to go have another beer n figure out what u want to hear than it's 4 the DJ to recite the name of every record in the booth!

9. HEY, MAN, NOBODY CAN DANCE TO THIS!
It's NOT advisable 2 say this when the dance floor is packed (but some ppl do anyway) ! HOWEVER, even if there is only 1 person on the floor, it STILL contradicts the statement!

10. PLAY IT SOON, BECAUSE WE'RE LEAVING! If ur gonna leave after he plays it, y shouldn't he wait till the very last song so u stay all night!

11. However, if u r specific n the Dj says he doesn't have that song, don't say "WHAT?!, what do u mean u dun have this song? what kind of a dj r u?

And above all.... if the DJ has one hand on the mixing board, one hand on the turntable & the headphones on.... Don’t bug him

Not everyone standing behind a mixer and cdjs are djs.

tayeb sometimes a dj plays 4 songs straightthat are all 40 years old and put you to sleep

I think in this case I should tell him play something we can dance to
what the hell am I paying him for?
(all the djs I ever had to speak to were playing in my house :huh: for 400$ a night and food he better not be complaining :Tawa: )

many things i hate in DJs or let's say the guy playing on the mixer...one of the things that makes me leave the place immediately is when they play something with what they call extended base tracks (w ma2souda), and those that play trance/electro/house all the night...
