hello i have a problem and i am attending for a solution my laptop is toshiba satellite l305-s5919 and my problem is how can i make karaoke party from my laptop i have a microphone and it works but it records the voice only without letting us hearing it so what i would need to get this solved and thank you

I think i understood what u want.....

1. on the taskbar, right-click on the sound icon, then click on playback devices

2. in the playback devices, single-click on ur speakers, then click on properties button

3. in the properties, go to Levels tab, then u'll see that your microphone is muted, unmute it w rodd 5abar ;)

In the proprieties windows, check the microphone checkbox under the "Show the following volume controls" text.

You have a built in mic right?
I don't think that it works on built in mic.

no i don't have built in mic it is an external one

Go to start menu , run: type in : sndvol32.exe then press enter.

my laptop is vista so no run how can i enter it ??
i tried it from task manager and the result is windows cannot find the sndvol32.exe please check if you type the name ...and then try again
