SSD Hard drives
Hello there,
The current biggest problem in PCs was that RAMs were getting bigger and faster same for CPUs but the data transfer between HDD (Hard Disk Drive) and RAM were always limited by the HDD low transfer rate with traditional hard drives were at 7200 RPM. The thing is that HDD booting is fast but decreases on the process, the longest it is the slower it gets which is not the case with the SSD (Solid State Drive) that functions just like flash memories but way faster and the risk of losing data is smaller. To explain the situation more on data transfer speed. - A traditional HDD speed would start by a boost of 190mb/s then go down to 60mb/s. - An SSD drive would start at 180mb/s and remains there. check these videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FyBxCR8P8T0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eUJ5Lka2aHE |
